Barnardo's Bolton

Nice second hand store with the largest number of DVDs and CDs in the street. I always step in to check what’s new. However, I feel some of the staff is not very happy when they need to control the amount of people that are in. I found lately a member of the staff addressing the situation a bit unfriendly with whoever is not paying attention.

Lovely little shop - with an ever changing range of clothes and goods on offer. All, of course, for a good cause. So if you care about helping the community and especially the children, pop in and have a look around, they even do cards for occasions that you could purchase.

I would like to share my experience with Barnardo's charity shop. I went in yesterday to ask if they take electrical goods. And a female who works at the shop, Barnardo's replied yes we do, but she'd have to send the electrical goods to another shop to get the electrical goods PAC tested. And now this woman I spoken with is complaining to the staff of where I work, by telling the colleagues I've given faulty goods.What's it got to do with the colleagues I work with?

Very rude service.

Very unfriendly and unwelcoming staff who look annoyed to be there . Granted they volunteer but it gives a very bad impression. I took my daughter and she choose a Teddy to spend her pocket money on but the women just looked blank didn't say a word. Its a sad world we live in.
