We live in this park and we could never ever explore all the amazing natural beauty that it has to offer us in a lifetime! Come explore it and Step Off The World for a while. This park will help you see nature and Scotland in a whole new meaningful way….I promise!

A scenic national park with great view of Loch Lomond. The field in front of Balloch Castle is gorgeous. The Walled Garden is full of beautiful flowers. It is a good place to go for a hike, or let your kids to walk around and play around. There are free car parks accessible to the town centre of Balloch. You can buy necessities there before start your walk or hike.

Lots of mountains and some humongous lochs. The Ben Lomond walk was more difficult than I expected, but the views from the top (on a clear day) were stunning; the scale of Loch Lomond is revealed from above.Visited in late April seemingly just before the midges woke up. This area was noticeably busier than Scotland's other National Park at this time, but still far from busy.Photos here from: Loch Lomond, Falls of Falloch, Ben Lomond and Loch Katrine.

It is a beautiful place to be. The nature itself is incredible in the Highlands. Loch-Lomond is giving that fascinating countryside a beautiful spot to hike through, fish and hunt. I stayed there for several days during a hunting journey, which took me to the outskirts above and around the Loch. I can definitely recommend the area, where you can find a little pub in the valley of Crianlarich named Rod & Reel as well as a little shop where you buy necessities. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed.

We did the 3 Lochs Nature Drive which was absolutely stunning well worth it. Lots of places to stop and take in the scenary. Overnight camping or stays with a motorhome but you must get a permit beforehand.

Loch Lomond Shore is stunning. It has been sympathetically developed with shops, café's and a beautiful stone built Sea World. I didn't know what to expect so I was very pleasantly surprised. The people are friendly.

Beautiful place! Mountains play peak-a-boo with the clouds. If you’re visiting, prepare for all four seasons in an afternoon!

Experience a great view and crystal clear waters! We took a day trip here with our 2 dogs, perfect to take a picnic or even have a bbq and make a day of it.There is a nature trail which goes all the way around the loch and a large portion of beach if you fancied relaxing instead. There is a free car park as-well as free toilets, and at certain parts they do a variety of water sports.

The area is huge, but you know when you arrive, as the landscape changes, to the gateway of the Highlands. The lochs are abundant, clean & stunning at any time of the year, with golden & sea eagles, buzzards, ospreys, red squirrels & plenty of deer around too. The lochs connected to the Clyde, have regular porpoise & dolphins too.If you’re lucky, you will see a submarine, the great power that will never be used.
