Jayne who runs this profit making charity is rude, unprofessional and a thief. She takes loved animals with a good home and refuses to return to the rightful owners. No thought given to the animals welfare, her only concern is the inflated fee's she gets for adoption. If you are unfortunate enough to adopt through this business then please do checks to make sure your new pet doesn't have a loving home and a rightful owner

We’ve recently adopted a cat from this charity. Our interactions with the team were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was reassuring to have them conduct a home visit to ensure we were the right home for our cat. The animal’s welfare was the main priority throughout.A fantastic charity. Adopt, don’t shop.

What superb bunch of people running this charity and looking after the animals. Everything is meticulously done to look after the animals - vets checks and injections, tagged, neutered/spayed. Dogs loved and exercised regularly while in kennels.We were inspected fully for a dog Chester, as they are very particular that dogs are released only to suitable new home, to be cared for and loved. Prior history of our dog; as much as known, was explained and any careful action needed by us to avoid problems was emphasised.They do not release dogs if new owners are not considered suitable. This is the best attitude when re-homing a dog.Pam & Eric Rayment

We adopted a cat from Jayne, right from the beginning of the process she was very helpful guiding us. When we went to visit, it was clear that Jayne and the staff care deeply for all the animals. We have had our cat for over a month now and she is settling in very well. We couldn't be any happier with the overall experience.

They do an amazing job, taking in and re-homing pets who for one reason or another need re homing. But most importantly they catch, neuter and re-home feral cats. Which in turn helps the cat population massively, it saves the cats living a difficult and dangerous life. I adopted 2 feral tabby boys last September, given time and patience, they have turned into very loving boys. They help my daughter enormously with her anxiety, allowing her to cuddle and pet them. ADOPT DON'T SHOP always!

This is a great animal charity. Jayne and her volunteers care deeply about the welfare of the animals in their care and excellent advice is given. Katie, the rabbit lady, treats the bunnies in her care as if they are her own and makes sure they are well matched to prospective owners. Our rabbits came fully vaccinated and neutered and we got some really good care advice. When the time comes, I will certainly go back to this charity and choose rescue again.

One of the best animal charities I have adopted from! Both our wonderful dogs came from them and I will always help when I can with donations. When we can re-home more cats I will be going straight back to SAR. Amazing charity and run by fantastic people. Could not recommend more highly. Please support and please adopt!
