Ideal Sewing Machines
This is the best place I’ve found to purchase a second-hand (or new) sewing machine in London, and for extremely good value by the owner, whose customer service is also excellent. The available machines come from all different years and pretty much every scale of complexity. And so the owner offered to repair any machine that may go wrong and even with a store guarantee for a month should you require it. Definitely will return if I ever need another.

Great experience in Ideal Sewing Machines today! Had been searching around London for a particular machine pedal and Mr Singh went out of his way to help me out. There's a reason he's been open for 40 years, proper shop with a proper shopkeeper!

Mr Singh came to repair my mother's sewing machine. He is such a nice man and my 94 year old mother felt very safe and comfortable in his company. He repaired her machine with no fuss. She was highly delighted and we are very grateful. Mum would highly recommend Mr Singh on every level. Thank you

Such a friendly service. I travelled to this shop because of all the excellent reviews and happy to add another one. They traded in my old machine and I bought a new one for a lot less than on Amazon. Very happy. Highly recommend. There’s a reason this man is in business 40 years and counting! well done!
