One of the better Harvesters (in my humble opinion) and we've tried a few!!Visited twice now and on each occasion we've been greeted and served by two lovely ladies, Karen & Shirley by names, who went that little bit extra to ensure that we had what we wanted, not overly attentive but there when you wanted them.Food was very good too, high quality and served promptly.A chance find while we were in the area for a short break, and well worth seeking out if you're ever in the Boxmoor/Hemel Hempstead area and in need of good, sensible, well cooked meals!!

Shown to our table in a timely manner where Lucy introduced herself and took out drinks order while we looked at the menuSalad bar was a little low but what we had was fresh and enjoyableFood was very tasty.Karen cleared our table and was a delight in entertaining our little personThank you Mallard for employing such lovely polite staff... Our waitress was Karen and she was amazing from start to finish.We often go to harvester and Karen was the most polite and helpful waitress we have had in a long time.She welcomed us to the restaurant and run us through the menu, (we are very fussy people).She was so good at entertaining my daughter. you could tell she had been working in restaurants a long time as her mannerisms and kindness was effortless.I would definitely recommend hemel harvester and would definitely be asking to be served by Karen as she made our experience what it was.THANK YOU KAREN

Had a wonderful meal here last Monday, our server Lucy was so friendly and polite, nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was very tasty and such good value for money. Lovely family atmosphere.

My husband and I had dinner at Harvester The Mallard in Hemel Hempstead. We were very warmly greeted by Danny (duty manager that evening) and promptly shown to our table. We asked if we could be moved to a different one in a quieter part of the restaurant (there were quite a lot of young children and families who were very noisy) as we just wanted a quiet dinner out. This was no problem and offered another table.Our server was a lady called Linda and she was great - quickly over to take a drinks order whilst we were deciding what to eat, she was very attentive and noticed when we were no longer looking at the menu. Food arrived very fast and hot (just as we like it). We ordered a mixed grill (hubby) and simple chicken for myself. Both looked very good, it was cooked well (not overdone) and nicely presented; we both enjoyed our meals.Feeling quite full, we still wanted a desert to finish off, we shared a Sundae, one with 2 spoons and it was delicious.I would more than happy to recommend anyone to book at eat here, I’m sure we will be back again soon.It is not an easy job running a restaurant, or serving such a diverse range of different customers; even more so when the weather is hot. Well done team!

Steak cooked to perfection but had to remind the server about the sauce.Treacle sponge dessert was delicious but the measly amount of custard it came with was very disappointing.

We had a fantastic meal last Monday, I highly recommend. The food was hot, fresh, tasty and plentiful. Our server Lucy went out of her way to accommodate my daughter’s dietary requirements and was so warm and friendly. She’s a credit to you and I hope she looks after us on our next visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
