The owners are very hospitable, nothing is too much trouble - if you need anything, just ask. Amazing breakfasts - cereal, toast, fruit, full English breakfast (cooked to perfection), filtered coffee, tea, orange juice, water and dilute juice - and that's just what I remember. The twin en suite room was spotless, beds were so comfortable, powerful shower (lift the shower handle gently) and TV in the room for when you need/want to lay down and chill. Lovely bar area with a pool table and decent prices for a pint - BONUS!!!!Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!

This is a lovely b and b and in a nice location with plenty of on street parking available. The owners, Jaqui and Russ are a very attentive friendly couple who always find it no trouble to accommodate your needs. The rooms arnt very big but clean and comfortable. The buffet hot and cold breakfasts are of great quality. We always use the thistle now when we visit Blackpool.

Jacquie and Russel the owners are the nicest people anyone could meet and very welcoming. The hotel and rooms are very clean and well looked after. They clearly take pride in what they do. Don't get me started on Russell's breakfast!! He does not mess about, best breakfast in any bnb I have stayed in Blackpool he does the absolute full monty, cooked to perfection. Huge thumbs up!

Fantastic place to stay,couldn't ask for better hosts, Jacqui & Russ were friendly and made our stay relaxed and enjoyable, lovely clean rooms and asked each day by a polite young girl if we needed anything, e.g Towels , bedding. You have your own door key so you feel safe to leave belongings in the room.Shower room and toilet were clean and in great working order. Breakfast was delicious made by Russ , a breakfast buffet consisting of hot breakfast ,cereal ,yogurt ,fruit, unlimited supply of tea ,coffee ,and cappuccino. It has its own bar where you can sit, relax and drink, it also has a choice of games and a pool table. Jacqui and Russ also have a lovely pub called the Jaq Russell which is a two minute walk away, the pub has a relaxing atmosphere where you are able to have a drink , it's friendly and welcoming, night time they have a DJ and karaoke which made it into a really fun night,We will be going back ,Thank you Jacqui and Russ for making our weekend so good.

From arriving at our guest house me and my family were made to feel so welcome. This is the 2nd time we have stopped here and the owners go out of there way to make us feel welcome. The bedrooms are basic but extremely comfortable and I'll guarantee you a great nights sleep. Now the best bit,The breakfast. Whether you are a cereal lover or full English then I promise you you'll not be disappointed. Unlike most breakfast in other b&b this 1 is all you can eat so you can be safe in the knowledge of a hearty breakfast before you head out for the day. The food is good quality and the service is excellent so don't be left in any doubt you will if you book to stay here have found a GEM of a hotel

Excellent clean rooms and located just behind central pier. The owners, Russ and Jaqui are the most friendly and accommodating hosts I've ever had the pleasure to stay with. No request is too much for them and they always go above and beyond. Greatly enjoyed every time I've stayed here.

Stayed here a while ago now, but remembered how friendly everyone was. The room was clean and had comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was fab! Definitely worth a visit and perfect location to walk everywhere. Parking can be a nightmare. But will definitely visit again.

Stayed here 2 nights with my 2 daughters. Great value for money. Jacqui is absolutely lovely and so friendly and was great with my girlsWill defiantly be visiting again. Also went down to the pub the jack Russel just down the road also owned by jacqui and her husband Russel for a great chilled hour. Can't recommend the place enough will be visiting again xxx

Recently stayed here with my girlfriend, really do have to say that is was more then we expected upon arrival. The rooms are are brilliant and kept to a very clean standard, no dust whatsoever. The beds are comfortable and clean unlike a lot of places in the same area for a similar price. The condition of the building is 5* and of a high quality. It smells nice and looks good which isn’t usually the case for a lot of bed and breakfasts in Blackpool. They’ve got a pool table and a full bar conveniently in the hotel. The service was lovely and everything you could want and hope for and little more, both the owners and there lovely dogs are so friendly and welcoming that you it makes you feel at home home walking through the front door, I would honestly Recommend this place to anyone looking for a cost effective and reliable place to stay for a weekend or a few nights. They’ve also got a bar no more then 100 steps down the road called the jaqrussel which is a brilliant atmosphere and great place to spend a few hours drinking and relaxing in the care of the lovely pair that runs both hotel and bar, not to mention the karaoke that they have there which can be a good laugh and all round entertaining activity for you. For the prices you pay and the services you receive you’d be stupid not to book a few nights here at this hotel and also check out their bar for a few pints at reasonable prices. I’d honestly say try it and see for yourself, jacqui and Russel are so welcoming and friendly you’ll wanna come back again and also be recommending it to your friends.
