Ibex Bouldering

Great little bouldering place, challenging and creative boulders, they’ve done well with the space they have. Nice coffee area, lovely staff, will be back!

Little to cold for me , peoples enjoying climbing. Nice place for kids to.

Polite staff, friendly environment, good variety of climbing route difficulty.They sell climbing equipment (shoes, chalk etc). They have snacks, beers on tap, coffee, and a seating area overlooking the walls (with a chess board) so even if you're watching a family member you have things to do!

Tough but creative problems with interesting holds. I was definitely climbing down half a grade compared to ROF / Durham. Coffee for 2 quid with nice outdoor seating or indoor upstairs seating.

Daughter attended this place with her Guide group. She really enjoyed the session and the facilities. I didn’t even know this place existed!

Great place for some bouldering. Really friends staff with great coffee and drinks. Nice and clean with lots of route changes to make it fresh

The routes are great and new routes are set fairly regularly to keep things interesting. Staff are super friendly and always happy to give you advice. Coffee are really good and reasonably priced too.

Nice atmosphere. Learnt how unfit I am now. But I'll be back to work on that.

I started climbing at this gym, and could not recommend it enough.The staff are all inviting and helpful and the community they've inspired here is friendly and easygoing, so there's always someone to talk to or help you out on a problem.The routes are varied and change regularly so there's something new on every visit, this is an excellent local gym for newcomers and experienced climbers alike.There's a great lounge area where you can enjoy a nice coffee or a beer, and there are competitions run fairly regularly which invite all skill levels.If you're debating starting climbing or joining a new gym, definitely give this place a try!
