Had a light meal in the courtyard, so this review is of the dining experience and NOT the room experience.I stopped by on a really hot day and was after a healthy snack to get me going again on my bike ride. The team was very resourceful in whisking up a bespoke refreshing iced green tea and lemon. The ham croquettes also tasted great. Light crunchy shel giving way to a delicate core.Great experience overall. The courtyard is also beautiful to have a relaxed dining experience.

WOW !What can I say .... Possibly one of the most memorable dining experience I have had in a very long while !We chose the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing, my wife is Gluten intolerent and also can't eat red meat, but the amazing chefs team were incredibly willing and able to rise to the challenge and accomodate her needs.The food was creative and delicious, new tastes, flavours, textures and smells.Our sommelier, Valerio, who guided and animated our evening introduced us to interesting and exciting wines to pair with our food and took us on a wonderful culinary journey of new flavors and delights.This is a dining experience not to be missed.

We stayed at the Angel Inn for our 1st wedding anniversary, we had read good things, but we were genuinely bowled over by how great out experience was. Everything was superb, but the food and wine in particular were astonishing!While staying we had the Full tasting menu, but for pescatarians, with wine pairings. From the Amuse bouche all the way through to the petite fours at the end, the whole menu was perfectly balanced. Particular highlights were the pistachio cake with poached apricot and curry milk, it really blew our minds. The service was excellent throughout and the time the staff took to explain the dishes and the wine pairings (particularly a last minute wine substitution that was phenomenal), all made for a lovely meal and an excellent anniversary getaway.Would thoroughly recommend to anyone!

We came here for a special dinner and really enjoyed it. The place is very well presented, the people are friendly and professional and all the food is delicious and unrepairable. We will definitely come again. Highly recommended.

Nice y to o be back and the refurbishment is excellent.The food, range, presentation and taste was exquisite. I thought that the price for the evening was expensive. There are very few local places that can compete with this restaurant. One has to make ones own mind up about how much you are willing to pay.Wine list was good if a little limited. The service was attentive and polite.We will come again but suspect for the special occasion.Overall enjoyed the evening. Thank you.

This is the most wonderful place. The ambience and decor are stunning. The staff are professionals and the food was probably the best I've ever eaten. We had the short taster menu and every mouthful was a delight along with the wine that was paired with each course. Delicious. We did not stay here but were shown around the rooms, each one is unique. Complete luxury.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Angel. What a find! Loved every minute of our stay. The staff were so attentive on arrival, our room was gorgeous, lovely touches such as air conditioning and under floor heating in the bathroom were appreciated, as well as the huge shower. We enjoyed our glasses of cava on arrival and relaxed in the bar having selected a couple of glasses of wine from the impressive wine list.we had booked the full tasting menu for our stay and decided to add the wine pairing as well. Oh man the food was incredible, beautiful presented, served so well by the staff, the passion and love that had gone into every single plate of food just came throughThe staff were so attentive and it was obvious to us that they thoroughly enjoyed their roles, nothing was too much troubleEach course was a different taste sensation and complimented so well with the selected wines. There is a strong spanish influence to the food and wines that we thoroughly enjoyed. The building itself is stunning, beautiful exposed brick and timber but so warm and welcoming, with a beautiful enclosed courtyard garden that unfortunately we were not able to enjoy due to the weather.Breakfast was delicious but i have to admit i was full from dinner so will book a later breakfast for our next stay.Really can't say enough about how lovely our stay was, highly recommend and i am looking forward to a return trip in the not too distant future.

We have just had a wonderful 5 course starter menu (party of six). I have been fortunate to eat at some of the best Michelin restaurants the UK has to offer. The Angel Inn surpasses them all. A big thank you to the chef for the incredible food and the friendly attentiveness shown by all the staff. I would recommend The Angel Inn to those wishing to experience the best in culinary delights. The food itself may have been prepared by an Angel!!

We had the most amazing all round dining and hospitality experience at the Angel this week. Firstly the staff were welcoming and warm whilst maintaining high standards of service, the food was literally fantastic, it’s been a very long time since I have enjoyed a meal so much in such convivial surroundings. There was a really relaxed feel to the restaurant. To top that our room was fab, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Hope to return very soon.
