Dove Home Care

We have been using Dove Home Care services to care for our elderly mother . I have found them to be caring and also helpful. When carrying out a visit to assess they made suggestions which have improved my mother’s home life. Simple measures which I hadn’t thought about. We have had a mix of carers. They have been friendly and caring and have tried as much as possible to give us the same carer for continuity. When we have a problem they have worked hard to resolve the issue quickly. I am happy to recommend their services.

We have really appreciated everything the carer from Dove Home Care did in caring for Alfred. I was very impressed with the carers work keeping the flat clean, tidy and helping Alfred with daily routines. He was also very attentive to ensuring was always safe.

Not only did Dove Home Care spring into action at very short notice after we were let down by another live in carer, but Jennifer looked after my challenging 97 year old mother with patience, kindness and professionalism, slipping effortlessly into a x4 daily double up care regime. Very impressed - not to mention relieved and grateful.

Dove home care take care of my grandmother and are excellent. All the carers are lovely and very professional. They help out with last minute additional care we need for her and we have seen a huge improvement in her in the last few months. Would highly recommend.

Dove Home Care provided us with 2 live in carers at very short notice after a hospital discharge. The carers were great, enabling family to go back to being family, and back to work. The three ladies who made up our package were all lovely, providing consistent, thoughtful care to our mum. The office were responsive. We felt at sea in the situation, needing help and support - the office team gave us the time that we needed and helped us to make the correct choices.

Having my farther needing care at home, we started our search for the right care company. Having spoken with a few different care companies. I have no personal connections with Dove management or staff and the following contribution is entirely based on personal experience of their care for my wife over the last eighteen months. The careworkers care with kindness and they work with commonsense. It is a pleasure to get to know these cheerful workers as part of our lives. Only today, they did not need an update as they had read the care notes. Dove answer the phone promptly and a real person responds usefully. They have never missed an appointment and if they are unavoidably delayed the office can keep us informed. Their financial arrangements are clear and well managed. Visits from the care manager are always helpful and considerate. When asked at short notice to provide extra visits they have responded promptly and without complaint. All of the above may seem simple but how refreshing in the post Covid world!!!

Dove were recommended to my sister and I when we were looking for urgent help with our elderly mother's care. Throughout the last 10 months, they have been fantastic: highly professional, compassionate and supportive. From day care support to leading to full time live-in care, there is no doubt that we could not have coped without Dove, especially as we don't live close to mum. Even when unexpected issues presented themselves, these were resolved calmly and always with mum's needs at heart.I cannot recommend Dove highly enough.

Dove have been amazing in the provision of care for our elderly mother for the last year. They and their carers have been our eyes and ears while we had to manage the situation from a distance.

Excellent services with no hidden cost or excuses . The caring service of four weeks went on smoothly . Carer never missed an appointment. The cost and the the of type services discussed at the beginning matched with the actual services that was provided : no hidden issues.and excuses (unlike the two other companies that I had interviewed before approaching Dove Home care).I highly recommend t Dove Care home for their polite and caring contacts, Their clear explanation of their services and their cost at up front. Excellent service afterwards without any problems.
