Progress Dog Training

My dog of 3 suddenly started to be too scared to leave the house, after 3- 4 months of not walking and trying everything I had read online I contacted Angela for help. Angela was absolutely fantastic and gave so much great advice. After 2 weeks of implementing Angela's advice my dog was making huge progress and now 6 weeks later she has absolutely no issues. I am very grateful to have my happy dog back. I couldn't recommend Angela enough!

This training has been amazing for my rescue dog George. He is very big and strong and would drag me eveywhere when I first got him and run off after other dogs appearing on the horizon. Now he walk nicely on the lead or off and only runs towards other dogs when they are very close and he can't contain himself but even this is improving. He has also started winning prizes at the end of term fun days making me a very proud mum. Angela is patient and kind but firm and gets results. I have also taken my newer dog to Angela from a puppy and he is progressing really well. He is a happy dog willing to learn in well structured classes. Had great fun this week with the end of term competition. Two very proud dogs.

What a pleasure it was to work with Angela. Our dog went from highly reactive to a joy on a walk (still on a lead - but still working on it!) in a few short months. We were at the point we thought we would have to re home him.We now have a whole load of tools to use from trick training to watching behaviours and signs. Thank you so so much. We now have the dog we hoped we’d have.

Angela really knows her stuff! We have a lovely little puppy and we had some 121’s with Angela who gave us some great advice and training sessions to get on with on our own. We have now booked in for puppy classes with Angela. I can thoroughly recommend Angela as a trainer, straight to the point and very approachable.

I can not recommend Progress Dog Training highly enough. We had three one-on-one training sessions taking place at home and in our local park. Angela’s style of training and delivery is amazing. Her explanations and directions for training are so accessible and although I’m sure she’s training us more than our German Shepherd puppy Bellator, remains friendly, calm and so helpful.

Angela has been a God send to help our dog and our family as a whole. We were constantly stressed about our dogs bad habits and it was having a huge impact on the whole families day to day life. After 1 session with Angela we were given such useful advice into changing our dogs attention seeking behaviours. We were given tasks to do every day and went back to basics with training and discipline with our dog. We saw positive changes immediately and my dog is so much happier with the stimulation tasks and we feel we have the control back again. I now have a much more contented dog and feel we as well as our dog have a respect for each other again. I would highly recommend Angela to anyone that needs help. I feel we had a huge list of things and behaviours that we needed to change and felt it was too late to change these as my dog is almost 3 years old, but Angela has proven that every behaviour is reversible and wow what a difference a month has made. I had 3 private lessons for Mabel a cocker spaniel puppy. Angela covered a range of issues over the 3 weeks, sit, down, stay, leave, pavement walking and recall plus gave additional info on any other problems I had, jumping up etc. Very comprehensive, look forward to taking it all forward with Mabel over the coming weeks and months. I recently adopted a puppy who was abandoned, after getting all his vaccinations, worming/flea etc sorted and giving him time to settle in I decided to look around for some trainers to help me with my first ever puppy to help him acclimate and also help train (us both!). I decided to do the one to one training and can honestly say it has been amazing. Angela explains things in such a way that it just sticks, Milo loved seeing her and we have both learnt so much in such a short space of time. I honest cannot recommend Angela enough.
