Had the best weekend in May 2022 (it took me 11 months to write this review but I had to make sure I recommended Sandeman eventually!). My love for outdoor activities has grown since our experience with the two Ollies - They were both really friendly and made our group kayaking extremely fun. I want to do it again!

We had an amazing, informative, exhilarating two day course with Ollie. He tailored everything to our abilities, needs, and goals while still fulfilling all the Paddlesport Touring Leader training requirements. He was patient but still pushed us and I would definitely recommend any coaching/training you can get with him.

Ollie is a fantastic coach, always providing empowering opportunities. His passion for paddling is very evident through his relaxed, positive and fun approach. Our Open Water Canoe Leader training on Llyn Padarn and Llyn Tegid exceeded all our expectations!

I had a fantastic 2-day 1-2-1 bespoke coaching course from Ollie - patient, calm, understanding, super-skilled, and great company, covering paddling efficiency, sailing, self-rescue, lining and tracking, openwater and whitewater skills. It was all I had hoped for and so much more. I have no hesitation in recommending Ollie for coaching & guiding. Paddles Up!

We had a brilliant day on the Wye with Ollie - he’s a superb instructor and guide. As per earlier comments here, he made the booking process really effortless and the day itself was an absolute pleasure. Highly recommended!

Ollie is an absolute professional! I had a good feeling about Ollie, based on the email communication that I had with him prior to the course, and he didn't disappoint in person.It was obvious to me, early on the first day, that Ollie had taken the time to work out the style of instruction that best suited my character and was genuinely focused on helping me to meet my aims. Ollie’s communication style, level of knowledge and skill in a canoe, along side his humble character, make him a great instructor and I look forward to booking with him again, once I’ve practiced and consolidated the techniques that he so patiently passed on to me this week.

During the two days spent with Ollie on the Progressive Canoe Award we experienced high quality of coaching throughout. Everything you would expect from a professional BC provider. I feel like I have learnt ta huge amount on this course and developed my canoeing skills to a new level. To make things even better, Ollie is very skilful in floating photography, having taken some great photos while skilfully handlining his canoe one handed and sometimes probably eyes closed as the sun was shining all weekend long. My daughter and I were thoroughly inspired by the canoe course we did. Ollie is a very experienced, thoughtful and responsive coach. He managed to pack in a huge amount of learning, interest and fun into the two days and the level of challenge was pitched just right for us.

We had a fantastic day with Ollie on the reservoir. In addition to canoeing skills, Ollie also demonstrated bushcraft skills and crafted a fire & made us a cup of coffee! A brilliant day out. Highly recommended.
