Staff have no idea what's going on. Failed to deliver parcel on requested date (Thursday) and said it would turn up on Friday. It didn't. I emailed to cancel and received no response. I called, and confirmed to cancel over the phone. I received an email response confirming my cancellation after the phone call.Fast forward to Wednesday the next week and the parcel turns up.Called back and was informed that even though I cancelled it had to be delivered as it was on the system".Every time I call/email I get someone different who has no idea what's going on."

Probably the worst courier company in the world. Refuse to answer phone and to receive your parcel is a lottery.

I have waited in all day for a consignment of live plants. The delivery didn’t arrive in the time slot allocated, no email, no phone call, no courtesy. I am contacting the sender to report this lousy service.

Our first try at shipping perishables out, APC/Mercian Logistics were really helpful setting things up for collection, answering my millions of questions very patiently and clearly. The driver was on time and charming. The parcel arrived in good order too. Everyone is happy. One star off because the website didn't show the prices - it is undergoing an upgrade and will be fixed soon, Amanda in the office was fabulous.

Supposed to have delivered a package for the past 2 weeks. Checked tracking and it said it was delivered over a week ago on the 3rd.Called them, was told it was due to a driver using paper rather than digitally recording.Was re-arranged for the 11th, had nothing. Called and found out it wasn't even out for delivery.Re-arranged for the 12th, had nothing. Same thing.Re-arranged for the 14th, called in the morning and was told it was out for delivery. Had nothing and now can't contact them.Seller is rearranging delivery using the more reliable DPD and cancelling the order.

If you love late parcels, or enjoy having parcels go randomly go missing, then these guys are for you!Not only will they conveniently never deliver your parcel, they will promise that they will several times before failing completely and miserably without so much as a visit or calling card.It is an amazing talent to have a business with package delivery at the core, only to not ever actually deliver any packages!Top effort Mercian, but perhaps you would be more productive by taking the month off.Mercian..?Hello?

3 separate days 3 separate emails saying my parcel will be delivered. Finally turned up on day 3. Telephone them and was put on hold for 15 mins, as the obviousley don’t want to speak to you or give you answers.

Terrible service with braindead drivers.. twice now I’ve had a large expensive package of frozen goods failed to be delivered on the chosen day because driver “ran out of time” despite the stickers on the box clearly stating it contained perishable frozen goods and should be delivered today. Was then given useless advice by an unhelpful woman on the phone. Why aren’t these packages first on the list to be delivered when they contain perishables? They were left to rot in APC’s warehouse. Unfortunately a good, reliable company has now lost a huge amount of monthly business with us because they chose APC as their courier.

Shocking service to our business in the last two weeks . Do not tell true story when confronting the office ( if you can ever get anyone to answer the phone) and delays in picking up consignments . Taking nearly a week to deliver 24 hour service items . Not even eligible for one star .

Appalling service – and not for the first time! Delivery date missed and no explanation then not answering phones or email. I wonder how they stay in business.
