Rillington Fish and Chips
One of the most consistent and reliably delicious fish and chip shops I have ever encountered. The gluten free fish is crisp and light, the regular batter the same, it's never greasy and always scrumptious. A wonderful treat and well worth many visits.

Rillington Fish and Chips
Previous visits had been OK/Good but unfortunately one of the most awful meals I have had recently. The burger was cheap, and I suppose you get what you pay for. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. As for the fish and chips, it was undercooked, drenched in oil, soggy and full of bones. The whole family felt off after a few mouthfuls.

Visited here many years ago and was lovely, but unfortunately I cannot say the same now. After a long journey from Leeds Airport we thought we would call in for a fish. I placed the order for 2 regular haddock at £5.20 each which seemed quite reasonable, counter staff seemed quite shy but pleasant. After a wait of around 10 minutes we received our fish wrapped up as requested.We decided to drive a bit further to eat them, what a mistake !!At first sight they didn't look too bad but that was it. They were very thin only about 1cm thick, there was very little fish and just hard batter at the 'tail' end.Very overcooked, dry and the batter was greasy but hard, requested salt and vinegar but couldn't taste either of them.Threw most of them away, and they repeated all night had to take gaviscon. Definitely looked a bit better than tasted, one of the worst fish we've had in a long time.if we'd have had them open I would have taken them back

Good food. Only 4 tables though which kind of makes it difficult to enjoy your meal if it's busy.

£3 minimum charge for drinks when you’ve just spent £16 on sausage and chips is well out of order! Managers attitude was appalling.

What a fish and chip shop! Incredibly fresh and well cooked.The batter was crispy, light and not at all greasy. The haggis bites were awesome and really tasty. The chips were chunky, crispy and fluffy on the inside, just as chip shop chips should be.On visiting the staff were friendly and welcoming. The prices represent real value for money and everything was cooked fresh.Visited just after opening on a Saturday afternoon and will be choosing this as our regular fish and chip shop from now on!

Very nice and clean inside and out popped in for fish and chips traveling back down to Staffordshire from Whitby very nice chatty staff and the fish and chips were lovely
