Wow!!! A must see if you are in Dartmoor. Well worth the entrance fee of £10. Stunning scenery and glorious rock formations the whole way along. It is a site of specific scientific interest as it is classed as a rainforest meaning there are loads of spectacular plants and animals that live in the habitat. The paths are rocky and a little hair raising at points so I highly recommend walking boots or trainers. It is a steep descent down and back up but there are steps to help you along

There are steep hill paths and/or lots of steps depending on the route you take. The waterfall is well worth the walk down the steps, or take the longer walk to stick to the path. Genuinely good day. The woodland is well managed and the views are very unique. I would recommend this if you are in the area.

Lydford village itself was beautiful. The gorge unfortunately was only half open so I can't give a proper review. Was fairly busy even though I visited early in the day, so I would say watch your timings and be the early bird. The gorge is beautiful (from what I saw of it). Kinda like welcome to Jurassic park kinda vibes.

Very beautiful and peaceful walk with a lovely waterfall at one end and the nice gorge walkway. There was a bird watching walk aswell which was really nice. Sadly two areas were closed but we expected this due to the weather and repairs.

Absolutely beautiful. Extremely good walk. Unfortunately the trail between the waterfall and the Devil’s cauldron was closed on my visit, but each sight was wonderful to see. Dog friendly all round other than the viewing platform for the Devil’s cauldron where dogs have to wait on the main path. Would definitely recommend.

Some lovely walks to the Devil's Cauldron and along the top iath to the Whitelady Waterfall. Bottom path is closed off ATM due to a landslide. Absolutely stunning scenery throughout the gorge.Highly recommended.

Due to the weather devils cauldron entrance is closed also the toilets are closed. Yes you have few entrances to reach waterfall. We did choose waterfall entrance and there are choices of ways to reach the waterfall, like step way or steep way. Both ways are excellent to explore. We are here in autumn season so the fall colors made the place more beautiful to explore and literally a push to reach the destination. This place comes under dartmoor national trust.

Beautiful area with lovely walks down into the gorge and to the waterfall, a shame the main walk is closed at the moment due to a landslide but will be back next year to do that one. There are tea rooms at either end of the trails which is nice after walk back up.

This is an amazing place to visit. We went to the devil's cauldron. You can also follow the River path. You will find beautiful trees and river side paths for a walk. Also visited white lady waterfall. There are 2 different entrances one will directly go to white lady waterfall and have a path to get to the devil's cauldron and vice versa. The most important thing to remember is the weather should be good.
