This place makes me feel like I’m back in Anfeild the excitement I had from waiting for my food was outrageous. You need to come here I had a naughty battered sausage and chips will 100% recommend

Wool Fish and Chip shop
Visited here after being out to the D'urbs for a play. It was closing as it was 9pmBut they still served us. They are very polite and the chips were absolutely delicious. The curry sauce had a propper kick to it. Not like the usual curry sauce you get from a chip shop. They've had a rough start to their business as they had a child in hospital who was very sick. But I'm sure they appreciate all the custom and support from the locals.. keep up the good work.

Had cod and chips tonight, was looking forward to the meal after all the positive comments, but on this occasion I was disappointed, the fish was barely cooked and the batter soggy and not cooked on the inside. Pie was dry, Other food ordered was ok, spam fritter and chips were nice, very clean and organised shop. Would go there again, but I wouldn’t choose fish, the sausages looked nice.

These guys have only been open a week or so but what a great start. Had fish and chips tonight and it was excellent. Good size portions, lovely batter and everything cooked perfectly. They are always busy so be prepared to queue but you won't be disappointed.

A lovely chip shop, food is gorgeous, superbly cooked, not greasy and very tasty, also very reasonably priced! Met some wonderfully accomodating staff that are clearly friendly, kind and caring people! Lovely atmosphere here! Definitely a favourite of ours when we're down this way!

I waited until I'd had 2 take aways to make sure my review was a fair one. The fish and chips on the first visit were superb and the second was as good.I ordered by phone and was told how long it would take, I arrived a minute or two early and my order was being wrapped.Friendly staff and a credit to the village.Well done
