Granny's Attic Bespoke

We have ask Catherine to restore two items of furniture for us - one blanket box and a wing backed chair. Both times she was really fantastic. She listened to what we wanted and gave us time and space to choose fabrics. When we were struggling with finding something suitable for the chair she gave us more options and was very kind and helpful.Catherine always cares for the items she's restoring as she understands that items can be a part of the family, or will be! She has always been honest around time frames, transparent about cost and straightforward, as well as great at communicating how the project is going. We will use her again!

A beautiful job! We had a dresser repainted and it was done so well, very quick and efficient, and at a reasonable price. Very happy indeed! And will definitely consider again for further work if needed.

A great transformation! Catherine has reupholstered a small nursing chair for me which has many special family memories but was looking sad and dull. She gave helpful advice re fabric suppliers and choices and has done a beautiful job placing and matching patterns. It has been great working with her as she readily accepted me having my own input in sanding and painting the legs. I'm really pleased with my chair which now has a new lease of life as my knitting chair - no arms to get in the way. It was a real treat when it was finished sooner than expected.

Beautiful restoration of a 1960s chair that is a family treasure. Catherine was super friendly and gave brilliant advice on which fabrics to chose and did a wonderful job.

Catherine took a battered old bookcase from our spare bedroom and transformed it to fit in with a new colour scheme to fit in with a redecorated room. It looks amazing and she was able to turn it round for us really quickly.

Catherine has worked wonders on an old family heirloom armchair - she has transformed it into a statement piece for our new home. The process was very easy; we were in regular contact and she kept us informed every step of the way. We were so impressed with her approach and positive attitude that we are working with her on two other upholstery jobs!

Catherine at Granny’s Attic is amazing! I had a very old blanket box that was my grandmothers which I took to her to be renovated. The end result was far better than I could have imagined! She painted it and put new wadding in the top. She even managed to save and clean the original handle. I selected a fabric which was I am so happy with. It looks like a new box but with all the lovely memories that I had and it now looks great in our home. Catherine responded so quickly by WhatsApp and send photos of samples etc to explain different options. If you have a special piece of furniture I’d defiantly recommend this to bring it back to life.

Catherine has recently upholstered a headboard for me in my home. I'm so pleased with the complete transformation, excellent quality of her work & communication throughout! Catherine even made a runner for my bed with the excess material. I'm so happy with it & would highly recommend her. Wonderful customer service, efficient and value for money.
