Jake photographed our wedding on the 1st March 2019 in the Tramshed in Cardiff. We chose Jake as his photos were totally our style and he had beautiful examples of city weddings in his portfolio and with our wedding being in central Cardiff this really appealed to us!!My husband and I were extremely nervous about the thought of being photographed for our wedding, but we didn’t need to be nervous with Jake. He was professional and extremely friendly putting us at ease and quickly understood our vibe and what we wanted from our wedding!!! Our pre wedding photos on Oenarth Pier were outstanding and I wasn’t sure how Jake would beat them for our big day........but he did!! Our wedding photo are truly beautiful and really represent the day we and our guests had. Every single one of our guests commented on how professional, accommodating and unintrusive Jake was throughout the wedding. Jake was there from the start and nearly until the bitter end capturing our day. It’s great being part of Jakes blog and our photos popping up on his instagram always give us a massive smile! Jake was brilliant with emailing and communicating, which is exactly what you need while planning a wedding. Jake photographed our wedding in July this year. He was amazing from start to finish and captured absolutely beautiful photos throughout the day. He made both of us feel so comfortable behind the lens (a position neither of us are used to!). He engaged effortlessly with us and our guests and really did capture the perfect images to represent our day. We couldn’t be more grateful to Jake!

My wife and I cannot recommend Jake highly enough. Communication right from the start was professional and personable. Jake listened to our requests, made us feel incredibly comfortable to be ourselves and we felt he really wanted to get to know us as a couple before documenting our day.His photographs are just stunning and have the most unique tone to them, perfectly capturing the essence of the day and the golden glow we feel when we recall those little details. He manages to seamlessly melt into the background and document those candid, unseen interactions and moments that tell a story, as well as engineer some breathtaking, cinematic shots.As a bonus he even shot some film and stop motion to put together the most gorgeous mini montage to music. This was far more emotive for us at least than hiring a separate videographer. How one man does it all I'll never know, but I do know he works incredibly hard to cover it all.If you are looking for a photographer with that effortless reportage style who is warm and endlessly professional then look no further. You might just have trouble deciding which photographs to hang on the wall from the hundreds of gorgeous shots he'll send you!

Jake was superb on our wedding day, he was discrete but everywhere at the same time. He captured many magical moments and we absolutely love our photos. Jake is extremely talented and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Jake captured the essence of our day perfectly in his pictures. He took the time to understand the sort of pictures we had in mind and they turned out even better than we could ever have imagined!Jake arrived early to scout the venue and was able to pick out the perfect locations for the pictures and allowed us to have fun and feel relaxed. Jake captured our wedding day perfectly. We have always loved his style of photography and were delighted when he agreed to travel to Cornwall for our big day. He captured each moment and space beautifully. All the guests commented on how kind and approachable Jake was and noted that he never made you feel uncomfortable whilst photographing. Jake captured our wedding at Penpont in Brecon last month and we were so so so glad to have chosen him as our photographer. Neither of us like having our photo taken, but Jake blended in so well on the day that we never felt uncomfortable and he got some beautiful natural shots of us and our guests. He also did a few 'family shots' and with his encouragement somehow managed to get some where we are all smiling and have our eyes open at the same time - it was a small miracle! We had looked at so many photographers, but Jake's style and use of colour and black and white really stood out for us, and we couldn't be happier with the results. He really was in his element capturing all the big moments, but also the smaller details from the day. Can massively recommend. Thank you so much Jake!

I cannot recommend Jake highly enough to photograph your wedding day.Jake was fantastic at communicating in the lead up to our wedding, which was something we really appreciated as we had a number of questions. He was also such great company to have around on our wedding day - this was especially true for us as our wedding consisted of just 20 people and so many of our guests commented on how lovely he was. And the images he captured are professional, emotive, and beautiful! We were so grateful he was able to secure our June wedding date at Llys Meddyg in Newport, Pembrokeshire.On the day itself Jake worked so hard as our wedding photographer, capturing lots of candid, reportage style photos alongside those all important family formals and posed couple portraits. Jake was the photographer at our wedding in August 2018 and we really couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!! Me and my husband aren’t fans of having our picture taken but Jake made us feel so relaxed and at ease that we actually enjoyed having our picture taken! He really captured the essence of the day and all the little special moments that we otherwise would have missed, which means a lot to us as we have them to cherish forever.
