Keld Head Farm Holiday Cottages

Lovely relaxing all you need accommodation. Very clean cottage (saying cottage, it was quite large), an area for children to safely play, a large summer house to relax in. You can tell that the owners take great pride in the farm by the very friendly welcome and the upkeep of the place. We stayed there whilst visiting lightwater Valley, Flamingo Land, Eden Camp & the National Centre for Birds of Prey. Definitely one to come back to.

We stayed in the Wheelhouse cottage which was very clean and cosy there was everything you needed On arrival we were greeted with freshly baked cupcakes tea coffee hot chocolate a pint of milk and flowers which was very much appreciated There was plenty of outdoor space toys and a safe playpark which had a sandpit in the playhouse there was a rocking horse tyke cars and games which my 4 year old granddaughter loved to play with The location was very convenient to visit Peasholm Park in Scarborough where we had a lovely picnic there We went to Goathland were Heartbeat was made it was like going back intime My Granddaughter enjoyed the petting Farm at Playdale Farm Park there was plenty to do and see there We went to Cedar arm Farm shop who have a lovely cafe and Farm shop as well as a playpark for the children my granddaughter loved playing with the tyke cars We really enjoyed our week at Keld Head Cottages it was lovely to meet Penny and Julian and there Family who were wonderful hosts We will definitely be going back again and we will highly recommend them to our friends and family Thank you Best Wishes from Carol Rick Claire and Katelyn

Beautiful cottages, central courtyard, great parking. Can walk into Pickering in about 10-15 minutes, plenty within a shortish drive too!

Great location and lovely owners.Well serviced and good for both couples and families. Didn't hear any noise due to the solid construction of the buildings.The garden areas have additional tables and seating if required adjacent to a lovely field. Parking well laid out with bays clearly marked. Less than a mile into Pickering on flat roads with a quieter route pointed out to us by the owner.

A great welcome with home made cakes, very clean throughout the cottage. Beds very comfortable with lovely bedding, lots of information about the area , telling you what's around and lots of beautiful views. We love it here.

Such a great place when visiting Pickering and surrounding areas. There is everything you need, and even a play park for the kids. Julian and Penny are always happy to help with anything you require, and the cottages are always clean with everything you would expect in your own kitchen.

This is our 3rd year staying at Keld Head .Have got to know both Julian and Penny very well. Lovely home baking to arrive in the cottage. It's a home from home .Thanks again for a wonderful stay and are already planning to come and stay with you next year.

Stayed many times - great hosts, lovely location, eco-friendly products in the cottages, homemade cakes waiting to welcome us. The children's play area has a good range of games and play equipment plus sesting for grown-ups to watch and take in the view. The courtyard is well looked after and perfect to sit in in the evening, sheltered to catch the last of the evening sun. Walking distance to Pickering for the steam train, castle etc. We love it!
