Very good would highly recommend this Campsite. There are toilets and showers all essentials there The staff is very nice and there is lots of plots

Very poor campsite. The staff are very rude. And very over priced will not be returning and specially after the way a family member was spoken too. Give the place a wide birth

Jimmy and his wife are awesome.Transparant.My advise ignore other reivewers and take a gamble.If your looking for a little retreat away from everything look no further.We are a tenant of his and only been here 2 weeks but ive been made to feel very welcome and nothing has ever been too much to ask.

Extremely inefficient and unwelcoming management, no one bothered to show us to a pitch or explain facilities on arrival and an attempt was made to overcharge us when they finally emerged to collect payment on our departure (after we had been trying to find someone for half an hour - we were at the point of driving away).The site is convenient for Lancaster but very close to the M6 so there is a lot of traffic noise, not mentioned on the website. Many of the facilities claimed on the website don't exist - no washing up area for instance.The site is scruffy, piles of building materials lying about and pipes sticking out of the ground on every pitch, particularly dangerous at night as the site lighting does not work. There were 2 traditional style streetlights, both lying on the ground with the glass broken, and a few other lights, none working. It is definitely not suitable or safe for children.Showers and toilets are basic, just about clean enough, and in need of upgrading, the showers are hot but since the shower curtains are too short the floor gets wet.If you want to stop off near the M6 on the way north or south then this site is convenient but that is the only thing I would recommend it for.It does however have an animal rescue centre next door, with an excellent and very reasonably priced cafe and small charity shop, well worth a visit.
