Books N' Cup Cafe
The only coffee shop that opens late, which is great to do some studying after work. The staff are always lovely and the drinks/food are lush. Come here regularly and it's so good! ❤️

I visited last week and ordered a white mocha, by far the best I’ve ever had :)The cafe has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with a variety of seating, great for if you’re catching up with friends, reading, or getting some light work done.There’s also a 10% student discount which is great!

We ordered an oat chai latte, carrot cupcake, Nutella latte and a Brie toastie with chutney, avocado and salad and they were all delicious and beautifully presented.Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere, great place to work as there is free wifi and plug sockets by most of the tables. I definitely recommend!

Quiet, cosy cafe. There is an amazing atmosphere to the place - makes you want to stay for hours and just let your thoughts wander or read one of the books. To top it off, the food and coffee are delicious as well and non- dairy options are available. Lovely!

Books N' Cup Cafe
This place has been my go-to coffee place/ breakfast book/ comfort zone while in vacation in Edinburgh. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the smashed avocado toast (see photo) is to die for, and the coffee is spot on. If you get lucky one of two soft leather armchairs might be available, the best seat in Edinburgh! The books are for reading, not for sale, unfortunately.
