Unhelpful, overpriced and annoying.Actual conversation I’ve just had after looking at both a regular and stiff shaft Ping 4 hybrid.“So with a 5% discount they’re £161”“Oh, I bought one recently for £149”“We’ll we do price match, can you tell me where from?”(Quick google shows them EVERYWHERE at £149)“Oh OK”My preference was the regular shaft but it looked used and didn’t have a shrink wrap on the club.“Is this one an ex demo?”“No it’s new”“Why’s it not got the shrink wrap?”“Well someone’s used it in the nets”Duh…as in an EX DEMO.I left and will buy elsewhere.

Great golf shop. Loads of stock. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have kitted out both my son and me with all the stuff that we need (and a bit that we probably didn’t)! Will definitely be shopping here again.

MATT IS FANTASTIC. DRIVER FITTING.I have the Cobra King F9 driver. It is a fantastic driver that has served me well for years. With all the new drivers coming out over the years, I wanted a new one to improve my game.I have tried every new driver that has come out over the last 3 years; Stealth, TSR, Rogue, Ping…all of them. Each time I visit I spend at least 45 minutes trying to find one that works. 3 years later and numerous hours given to me by Tony Valentine employees, I still had not found one that outperformed my Cobra…until Friday.Matt of Tony Valentines has tried fitting me numerous times. Each time doing an incredible job, allowing me to get the most out of the club that I was trying - it was not his fault that the clubs just couldn’t beat the Cobra.On Friday, Matt once again gave me an hour of his time. I felt like a complete time waster but Matt gave me his full attention and enthusiasm as he’d done so many times before. We got me hitting a Callaway Paradym and it was finally outperforming my Cobra……order made!A huge thank you to Matt, I have taken up hours of his time over the last few years…..I’m sure he’s happier than I am that I have finally found a new driver.Thank you!

Went in today for a custom fitting for a new driver. The facilities are incredible, the options available are brilliant and there was no pressure to buy anything in particular. Brilliant shop with loads of amazing golf stuff, will definitely be back!

Awful service. Ordered a pair of trousers after visiting Corsham. 6 weeks later and still no sign of the order despite having paid for them in advance, and no communication at all. Would not recommend them

Can't believe I've just discovered this place. Went in to scope out an insane level of choice, very impressed with the level of customer service. Each member of staff acknowledged me and gave great advice. I would highly recommend.Just thought I'd add that after a year i've been so impressed with the customer service each time I go in. Thanks for sorting my golf grip out so quickly.

I have been a fan of Tony Valentine's for a long time now, having played golf when I was younger and recently picking it back up again.The Corsham Team are very friendly and helpful however there is a stand out Member of this Team, and that is Matt Mumford.Myself and my Fiancé cannot recommend him enough, from Club Fitting, product knowledge, customer service and all round great salesman.At the tail end of 2022 Matt helped fit me for my new irons, his knowledge and passion for the sport was so obvious and is a massive asset and credit to the Corsham Team.Matt is a great personable sales man, not only is he not pushy but looks at it from a what's best for you" approach rather than a "how much money can I make" which just makes him even better than the rest.Matt has continued to help me throughout my return to the sport allowing me to trial different drivers

I've been to a number of golf shops over the past weeks and quite frankly have been very disappointed by the lack of interest and guidance for somebody new to golf. And then I went to Tony Valentines and the other shops could learn a lot from this family run business. They took the time to discuss options, were really patient in me trying out many clubs and then guiding me on the best ones to meet my needs - all without any upselling. Great company, professional and friendly staff and will be my go to in future even though they are not local to see. Particular shout out to Matt from Corsham branch for all his help - and patience.
