Popped in on the off chance mid morning for a late breakfast after my daughters away football match in Alton.Friendly efficient service and very reasonably priced full English breakfasts arrived swiftly and the freshly cooked food made a welcome change from the expensive fare served up in chain dominated Guildford we usually endure.We will definitely visit again.Thank-you.

We came here for lunch with the family. Although it took a while for the food to come out, it was very nice and at a very good price. Lovely service too. Would come back.

Really worth the wait, the food was absolutely lovely!My son had the sirloin steak and he said it was really tasty.My daughter had the double egg and chips and I had the chicken mayo baguette which was awesome!Nice and quiet too x

This is my go to pub when out for the evening with girl friends. It is not a modern building but the main bar is welcoming and seats are comfy. A varied menu which is reasonably priced and the portions are plentiful. Staff are friendly even when it is busy

We had a delicious lunch here a few days ago. I had Cajun sizzling Chicken with chips and salad and my friend had Pork and leek casserole. Both meals were very tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.

Poor service standards - took ages to find someone then couldn’t provide advertised drinks so went elsewhere. It does look as though it’s a pub with potential - seemed nice enough inside and is very well located. Maybe just a bad day?
