Cathedral & Quay Car Park
Multi storey car park providing access to the quays area of Exeter. The car park is pay and display unlike most multi storey car parks nowadays. It is dark and not particularly well lit.The exit doors on level four had graffiti sprayed on them and gave the impression this wasn’t a safe place to be.The Quays themselves are fantastic with lots of interesting buildings, activities, bars, eateries and artisan craft shops. There is plenty of walking along the water’s edge, and this is well worth checking out.

Cathedral & quay car park. It’s like a hidden parking but good location if you are planning to visit the city centre with your car then this is the parking spot. the price is not bad. The road are small not a problem unless you have big or very long car or a labo it won’t fit. if you own a 7 seat car it’s ok. Don’t expect a brand new building, this one is old and I noticed some stairs smells. But it looks safe for me, there are many cars that parked here and it is very close to the river where you can ride a boat and a walking distance to Princesshay shopping mall and Exeter Cathedral. You can pay cash or an app.(Ringo) Sometimes the app was slow but I managed to pay via app. I parked in level 3 near the ticket area where the stairwell is located. when I came out through the stairs there’s a ally way which leads you to the amenities, custom house and river.

The car park is very run down, dark and the lighting doesn’t make it better. There is graffiti all over the walls and the stairwells to get out smell of wee. Signs about anti social behaviour placed around the place and clearly there is an issue. Would have parked somewhere else if I went to the quay again. The quay itself was brilliant.

The Quay and the Cathedral in Exeter are great places to go and pay a visit. The Cathedral has amazing architecture, guided tours, prayer times, service mass, and is a great place to worship. The Quay has a climbing wall near it, many shops and cafes. A short walk from the main city centre. It has amazing walks along the river and plenty of wildlife.

Pretty scary place to go in. Top floor was blocked off. Parking spaces are quite small when you have a big estate car. Flip side - a load of parking spaces available on the floors that pretty much go straight out into the quayside.

Car park is well located in relation to the Quay but you have to go through an underpass to get to the city centre. Spaces were quite small, car park was covered in graffiti and quite dim and to get from the upper floors to the street you have to go down a spiral staircase where we met 3 people who were on drugs. There was also someone else walking around the car park looking in cars and this was only at 4pm. Did not feel safe and would avoid in future.

Entrance and ramp are extremely narrow, entire place is covered in graffiti, strong smell of urine everywhere, and homeless living next to the ticket machine. The lifts were out of order so if you’ve got a wheelchair or pushchair this isn’t the car park for you.The lightning is poor and in most places not working, it felt like I was at the start of a horror movie…On the plus side it’s close to the quayside although a long narrow walk down steps to get there.

Fine if you already have the Ringo app on your phone, otherwise payment is by coins. Unlike the rest of the known universe where you can pay for virtually anything by card or phone, that's not possible in Exeter. Lacked the patience to wait for the verification message on Ringo where my account had lapsed so left the car park. We had been enticed to stop for lunch by the lure of some yummy sounding local cafes, but ended up buying a meal deal in Sainsbury's instead so a pretty dismal outcome.
