Do Not rent with this company. We got the car from Gatwick and only drove for 3 days, there’s a sign to refill the adblue. So we had to buy and fill up for 25 pounds. And on the return, no shuttle bus from the rental. They told us to get the public one and they only come only every hour. How could we get on time for check in for waiting another hour. Their staff told me, well i needed to get the uber!!!! We ended took 2 ubers as we had many lugguages. So who would responsible for all these costs not caused from the customer!! Their phone line never worked, i called many times and no human being answered it. Kept going back and forth for the automatic machine!!! Do Not rent any car from them!!!!!!More to add, we didnt get the car we selected. Not even close, so we ended up pay more 20 pounds a day to get a better car. And the car was super dirty, we spent 30 mins cleaning the car ourselves and was told that the car was cleaned. We had to use alcohol and wet tissued to clean the entire car. We were asked to pay 1,500 pounds for the deposit too. And wish we would read review here sooner before making the decision.I have never experienced such worst experience renting the car before.The best is to rent from well know rental company and get the car in the airport although it might cost more but you would not have to go through this bad experiences. We went for the holidays and this was definitely destroyed our holidays!!!

Don't use! Avoid! U will regret it! Very poor customer service! Not transparent! Almost like the agent was fighting me just for seeking an automatic car to rent. The car was advertised on Easyjet third party without indicating what transmission it is. I particularly looked out for the transmission as I know I can't drive manual. It only showed it was manual after I have paid. I went through back and forth with them and with third party Easyjet. I made two bookings both of which they claimed were manual though I asked for automatic. I ended up not being able to use the car after paying almost £80. The Worst experience and the worst day I have ever had in many years!

SCAM SCAM SCAM !! My husband rented a car from this place. He drove it from under the Hilton to front of the office (red car is the rental) to load our stuff. After a couple hundred feet the car started to smoke. They would not give us a new rental. They would not refund us. We had to sit there for about 5 hours to wait for a mechanic to tell us the car was ok and a report to say it was ok. Then they would not give us the car to go on our way or another car or a refund. So the only option we had was to leave. THEY WOULD NOT GIVE US ANY PAPERWORK SAYING WE WERE NOT TAKING THE CAR WITH US. ONLY THING WE COULD DO WAS VIDEO THAT WE DID NOT TAKE THE CAR FROM THE PREMISES. WAS THE CRAZIEST EXPERIENCE. VERY STRESSFUL AND WE LOST MONEY ON TOURS AND RESERVATIONS IN PLACES WE NEEDED TO BE. While we were there for almost 5 hours we saw many customers come in to complain about false charges.

Terrible SCAM business. DO NOT get baited by their 'cheaper' advertised prices. They wasted over an hour of our booked time because they sprung us with a ridiculous requirement to provide evidence of the year when I obtained my full driver's licence (the licence itself not enough), then initially refused to accept evidence of this. Another couple in the counter next to us were also encountering trouble, not being able to meet the full cost of insurance for their vehicle, as it had not been fully stated when they booked through a third party website.I was then advised to pre pay for half a tank of fuel so that we would not have to refuel prior to returning the vehicle. The vehicle did NOT have half a tank of fuel when we commenced our rental. On advising the staff of this, we were asked to send our evidence to their manager's email. After over a month, we have still not received a reply.Renters beware, would recommend avoiding this business like the plague.

Didn't read reviews before renting a car from Green Motion through a comparison website. Not sure why so many bad reviews but the guys at the Edgware office were very friendly and helpful. My car was almost brand new. I was even late 45 min due to traffic in London but they were understanding and didn't charge me extra. Thanks guys, I'll come back when I need a car.

Avoid renting here unless you're desperate. I wish I read the reviews here before booking. Awful checking process. Check-in took almost an hour, I was told to pay a £1500 deposit, which will be locked on the card for 30 days. This is unacceptable. I have worked in a car rental (many years ago) and have rent cars from many companies and this is by far the wrote experience. The man at reception had no empathy ( and bad attitude) when I ask why is the deposit so high and why I couldn't drop the car off after hours.Oh and you sign the vehicle damage report without seeing the vehicle. The cars are in the basement of the Hilton hotel where its fairly dark so you can't make it out light damage.Just pay a bit more and avoid dealing with this company.The fellas in the basement of the Hilton Hotel was awesome, I advise them to find another job

Very happy with our car rental with Green Motion. Also the location at Hilton Metropole is perfect. It is just outside the London Congestion Zone so plan your route getting in and out of Hilton.Excellent experience at Green Motion. Both Mr Hasan and Sean K were very efficient and knowledgable.Would rent again for sure.In the photos. It's the yellow coloured MG. excellent colour too. Felt very positive about it.

Worst car hire company I've ever used.You check out the car from an ill-lit underground carpark . I took their word it was undamaged. On returning the car the check in person gets his phone torch out and scans the whole car for marks. The car had 4200 miles on the clock , of course there are marks ! . Sure enough he finds a cut in the tire wall and a 1 cm mark on the wheel rim. I drove the car 40 miles. I had no incidents .I believe that damage was on the car when I picked it up but not easily visible in the gloom. I was then charged an exorbitant amount for repair and replacement. This is clearly part of their business model and they are a failing company.Check out desk was chaotic and had long lines because short staffed.Check in process is corrupt and designed to catch out the customer. They won't be in business much longer.

Car was new and clean when we picked it up.Returning was easy. Mekel and Mo were ready to greet us in the underground car park. They were also very understanding with us going slightly over our allotted mileage.As others mentioned this is also well placed because it is not within the Congestion Charge Zone - others are meaning an extra charge.Would recommend!
