This is a little gem in the middle of nowhere and what a great find it was. The decor of the restaurant is authentic and relaxing. The staff are all very attentive...and now on to the food. Amazing Food! We ordered a variety of starters that came with the tastiest sesame bread. The mains were packed with flavour and cooked well and the super gooey not too sweet baklava was a lovely way to end the meal.All in all I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back to try the rest of the menu :-) 5*

Excellent quality of food and excellent sitting, ambiance and dining. Very impressed with the quality and deliciousness of food. Full of flavour and lovely presentation. We ordered the mixed grill and grilled fish. The grilled sea bass is full of flavour like you would not have tried before. It has a scrumptious taste and I would recommend ordering it. It was exquisite. There is so much variety to order in the starters too.We really enjoyed the starters main course and desserts. . A fun night with a declicious meal. The drinks are refreshing cool and simply loved them.I would recommend to all my friends and family.The interior design of the restaurant is amazing. We really enjoyed sitting comfortably and an amazing location by the riverside. A really welcoming restaurant where you will not be disappointed.

We were lucky enough to win a 3 course meal for 4 people on their instagram and we couldn’t have been more impressed! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance, setting the stage for a culinary adventure. Galata Pera is a hidden gem in Brentford, offering a delightful taste of authentic Turkish cuisine (now my favourite food).The menu boasts an enticing array of dishes, featuring traditional Turkish favourites alongside innovative creations. I highly recommend starting with the two mezze platters, a delightful assortment of cold and hot appetizers that perfectly capture the essence of Turkish culinary artistry. Each bite is a symphony of flavors and textures, leaving you wanting more!For the main course, we opted for the mixed grill, prawn shish and yogurtlu lamb shish which was cooked to perfection, all retaining their tenderness and juicy flavor. The accompanying rice and salad perfectly complemented the dish, creating a harmonious blend of flavors.We then savoured the baklava. The sweetness was balanced perfectly with the subtle nutty notes, making it an irresistible treat. We also enjoyed their rice pudding which was outstanding!Galata Pera is not just about the food; it's about the entire dining experience. Great Turkish restaurant in the Brentford area. It was our first time to visit and everything was just absolutely perfect.Welcoming service, excellent seating outdoors with good view of the river, delicious dishes!Loved the lamb kebab, juicy, well cooked and soft! Yet to try their deserts, but saving that for next time.Place is excellent for parties too, they have very cozy and warm atmosphere inside.The restaurant also does take aways and deliveries. Be mindful that the menu at the door of the restaurant had a take away menu, prices for in restaurant dining are 2-4 pounds more expressive per dish.

Came here with some work colleagues recently and had a fantastic meal matched with excellent service.Our party was around 16, and they handled it all within their stride. All food came out together, and all of it cooked well and extremely tasty. No one had a bad word to say.I went for the hummus to start, which had a fantastic flavour and perfect texture. The bread that comes with the starters was so moreish we ended up getting a few more baskets.For main, I had the chicken shish. The chicken had lots of flavour and was cooked very well, still moist, yet charing on the meat to give that extra flavour. The rice I think they put a little butter on as it was so delicious I could have done with more. The only negative I'd say is I would have loved some pitta with it. I'd still order again, though, as it was so tasty.Everyone else in the party had similar positive things to say.Definitely recommend coming here!

Gorgeous decor. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food was just absolutely unique from other Mediterranean cuisine I've had. Pretty good value for such delicately prepared food. Try the musakka if you want a unique vegetarian dish. The cheese is not overwhelming and is so satisfying melted with the potatoes. The kisir is also a great appetizer that is a light, tangy cracked wheat dish.

Quaint place tucked away in a neighborhood. Friendly staff. Yummy bread! I liked that it was sort of crispy.The humus kavurma was mostly tasteless with tasteless, dry meat—the most disappointing of the meal. The imam bayildi was good! Warm, roasted with good seasonings, just not enough eggplant. The rice was well cooked and the side salad was sweet for a good flavor contrast. The iskender kebab was ok, it looks like a ton of meat but the majority of the chunks are actually soaked bread. The sauce didn’t soak into the meat that well, and once mixed with the yogurt, tasted like… pizza?

This Turkish restaurant is a hidden gem in Brentford. The grill is brilliant and the richness of the meat makes the food really good.Both the cold and hot starters are a must try though would rate the cold starters higher than their hot counterparts! The sesame bread which is complementary is heavenly. Do try the Turkish Raki drink and the Turkish wine.The sheesh kebabs are a must try as well and have very rich taste with the right balance of Turkish herbs. The service and the river view is a big add-on!!

I have been here a few times to receive a mixture of service and quality of food. The owner being a friendly person makes a positive difference as well s few staff members a lady in particular who really makes us feel welcomed. The atmosphere is right for me. What I order has been great fresh warm and hot. However although the food has never been bad at times it's not been to the best standards Galata Pera are capable of from what I have experienced from them previously. Those standards are what set it apart from similar restaurants that I've been to. However at times when those standards are not there although decent doesn't warrant an often return. Food is great never it has never fallen below minimal expectation. Atmosphere good. Service is a mixture depending on the personal. Overall worth going. 4 stars
