We booked Tom as our wedding photographer. Throughout the whole process from first meeting him right through to viewing the final photos, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was fantastic on the day, and made us feel so comfortable. The finished photos are absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't be happier with them. I'd have no hesitation in recommending We Can Be Heroes to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. 5 Stars

We cant thank Tom and Lisa enough for being part of our wedding day. We had the most amazing day and now we have beautiful pictures to remember every minute of the day. Tom and Lisa arrived and instantly mixed really well. Like we had always known them. We really couldnt recomend them enough. When we got our photos back there were so many pictures we couldnt believe how lucky we were it was like we were able to relive the day. After my wedding was over, I realised that the memories I wanted to hold on to were the small moments of love and happiness shared with those I love most. However, capturing those moments in a photograph is no mean feat. For this reason, it is difficult to convey just how brilliant Tom Nicholl of We Can Be Heroes Photography is. He has given me memories I will treasure forever.Tom managed to capture every moment that was most important to me: the look in my partner’s eyes during our exchange of vows, the happy hugs with family, and even my dog’s beaming smile (a near impossible task given my dog turns his head every time he sees a camera!).As well as being an excellent documentarian, Tom’s creativity and skill produced photos better than I could have ever imagined. As someone who is fairly self-conscious, I was shocked (in a good way!) by how beautiful the photos of me and my partner turned out. Tom made Derry look like Milan!I should also mention that Tom is a fantastic person. I was nervous and he put me at ease. My partner hates being photographed and often doesn’t smile in photos; but thanks to Tom, he looks so happy and comfortable. Tom is great craic, which is also something I really recommend looking for in a wedding photographer. He is a total professional too – I appreciated the conversations by email and phone before the wedding, and he asked all the right questions to ensure he knew exactly what we were looking for. One example of this was my last minute decision to have the wedding ceremony filmed. Tom was able to arrange for his colleague Barry to produce a video of the event, which was perfectly made and gave us another means of reliving the day. As well as sending us the photographs and video of the ceremony, we were provided with a slideshow of a selection of photos to share with our family, which elicited many happy tears.In short, I can’t thank We Can Be Heroes Photography enough, and highly recommend booking Tom to photograph your wedding. If you do, you will get natural, beautiful, artistic photos, and will have a lovely person behind the camera to make you feel at ease.

My husband and I have just received our wedding video and we cannot thank Tom enough for such a fantastic experience from start to finish. We are so happy with our video but more than anything, Tom helped us feel relaxed and at ease in both the lead up to, and on the day of, our wedding. We are so grateful!

Myself and my wife couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. Right from the beginning he understood what we wanted from the photos and knew our style straight away. The booking and deposit process is really handy as you can see everything you have paid in your file. On the day he was so chill and kept everyone on time and in check! (He even had some photos edited and ready that we viewed on the day at the reception !)Our photos look amazing.
