When I collected our Giant Schnauzer her beard had been completely removed. I explained to them when I arrived that she had encountered a Velcro type seed that I had had to cut from her beard. There was minimal matting to her beard when we arrived. I am so disappointed. They also charged us an incredible amount for this absolute sub par groom. She has bald patches on her stomach and chest, and she seems very subdued. Absolutely do not recommend.As you leave no space for a reply I will reply here. She has been groomed in between seeing you with someone who was absolutely brilliant with her and no cuts or bruises on him, so maybe it’s your management of her that should be questioned, we couldn’t get space with this wonderful groomer and the worst decision I made was coming to you. I absolutely believe that given you had her with you for going on 3hours you could’ve called me to discuss her beard? Also when I collected her she had had no access to water and I had to ask your colleague to fill up a bowl and she drank the entire bowl full of water. I will not be returning which I’m sure is no consequence to you. If you are going to charge £120 then I think that should be discussed beforehand.

Nina is always professional. Pippin always looks so pretty and smells scrumptious. I highly recommend Pooch Wellness if you are looking for a groomer.

Terrible customer service, will overcharge and then blame you. Usually saying the dog is matted etc.Avoid at all costs and for the sake of your fur baby.Update: Nina it’s not a fake review - you groomed my dog and overcharged. You conveniently use a fake review when you don’t want to acknowledge any wrong doing as a business owner or take accountability, probably why your business is very slow and you have time to reply to this.

We have been bringing our two dogs to Nina for over a year. She always does a great groom and the dogs are happy going to her. She is an excellent, experienced and knowledgeable groomer. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone! Thank you again Nina.

Cannot speak highly enough of Nina - our original groomer had returned to a different career at the end of Covid and my Standard Poodle needed a lot of work when we found Pooch Wellness. Nina saved the day, and continues to look after him regularly with great care and kindness. He's a big bouncy boy and it's a long haul for both of them but he is always beautifully groomed and happy when I collect him. Thank you Nina for your skill, patience and expertise - we both think you are wonderful.

Nina is the only person in whose hands I feel comfortable to leave my very finicky little poodle who absolutely hates grooming. From the moment I first met Nina at Pooch Wellness, I could see just how seriously she treats dog's wellbeing. There is no nonsense fuffing around, but a real, deep connection with every animal she grooms, and their health and happiness always comes first. I should add that my family was initially against taking our pet to be professionally groomed as we do not like that show French poodle look. Nina listed to my preferences and can always artfully make her look super cute, yet like a dog! Can't recommend her enough.

Excellent work and appointments always on time. My dog has allergies almost to everything and it is difficult to find right products to him. Nina listens to your concerns; prioritizes dog's needs and my dog never had any problems.

I have taken my very hairy and fluffy Malamute to Nina a few times now. The first few sessions were quite stressful for both the dog and Nina, as he had never been groomed properly before and there was a lot of matted fur to get through. Nina worked tirelessly to get him looking amazing and every time he goes he looks better and better. I would not take my dog anywhere else, he does not particularly like being groomed, but he has got used to Nina and trusts her now. She may not be the cheapest in the area but you get what you pay for. She is very highly qualified, talented and takes a lot of pride in her work.
