A friendly environment with hot and tasty food. The staff here are really friendly and helpful and appear to enjoy their work! The Sunday lunch is exceptional! Very reasonably priced menu. Loads of free parking directly outside their door. I've eaten here before and we always go back! I'd definitely recommend eating here! Their Choc Maskaponi pudding was delightful!

Went to the Red Cat for the first time in Years tonight and the food and service was fantastic.Turkey dinner for me and my partner from the set menu and fish and chips for my daughter. Really good and we will definitely be returning.

Amazing Food, great service.First time eating at the Red Cat and it was amazing. When we walked in the staff were so welcoming, felt like we were regulars. The food was amazing, hot, fresh and quick service. We had three courses and a couple of soft drinks each and it was about £30 per person. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Can’t wait to go back again.I would highly recommend.

We ate from the new menu, which has small plates in a tapas style.The food was beautifully presented, both colourful and neat. It tasted fantastic, too. There is a good variety of tapas and in addition, there are the more usual pub side dishes.

Had the salt n chilli pork belly bites and a roast lamb dinner, absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced, atmosphere was great outdoor area was lovely too. I will definitely be back and have told everyone about it.

Fabulous small plates menu, with lots of choice, friendly staff in a traditional country pub with a great atmosphere and a lovely location. Will definitely return to eat here again x

Not been here for many years and decided to give it a go as it's under new management (again) and has had some refurbishment. It hasn't changed too dramatically and is still a nice and cosy place inside. There is extensive seating outside but we didn't try that. There is the usual selection of beers, wines and soft drinks although one of the beers had run out. The meals were good. Two were rated as very good, one as good (although a bit stingy on the chips) and one was ok but much too spicy (although that is always a personal taste thing). Desserts were also good and not ridiculously overpriced like some places. The service was good too. We enjoyed it and we'll be back again.

Really delicious lunch! Chicken and broccoli pie of the day, served with handmade chips and veg, and a Turkey & gravy sandwich served on Spanish bread. Chips were thick cut, double fried and extremely tasty! Will definitely visit again to try more dishes on offer.

Terrible new menu . It’s a lovely original old country pub me and my friends have been frequenting for many years.When the recent new owners came in they turned the pub around with an amazing original pub food menu that was value for money and high quality also decent quantity.I hope soon they realise their mistake with the new menu as they will very soon start to see less return customers who will simply go elsewhere for original pub grub.
