What can I say? Prompt , courteous and efficient from first contact to completion of job. Dave and Dale removed a cherry tree that needed taking out. They clearly know what they're doning; in about 20 minutes, the job was done and tree had been put through the chipper. They saved a limb and cut it into manageable pieces for me to use in a log burner when they've seasoned AND pruned a small rowan for me, despite that not being part of the original quote. They also kindly took some garden waste of mine. These men go beyond the call of duty. The price quoted was fair and the extra bits they did for me only cost me the price of a cup of coffee each! And they're thoroughly nice guys too. Without hesitation I would have them back again and can't recommend them highly enough. If you're dithering over whether to make contact with Woodpecker - just do it. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. I sent a message to enquire about having two trees cut back and Dave called me straight back and was able to come round later that day to have a look at what needed doing. He is obviously very experienced and knowledgable. He explained the options to me and also explained how to go about contacting the council to apply for work to be carried out, and what to say on the application to explain myself properly (as the trees have a protection order on them). Once we received permission a number of weeks later Dave was able to book me in within a few days. They arrived exactly on time. They took photographs and film as evidence of the work. They carried out the work diligently, very safely, and did a fantastic job. They cleared away all the debris, chipped up the majority and left a few logs too. Both Dave and Dale were very polite and really easy to talk to. I would absolutely recommend this company 100%. I won’t be using anyone else in future.
