What a fantastic fish and chip shop. Beautiful seating area inside, lovely atmosphere. Amazing service, very friendly and fast. Very very clean and the food is so fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the home made fish cakes, they are absolutely gorgeous. Top chippy highly recommend

Just had chicken curry half and half from Just Eat. The chicken was absolutely awful. I know it has curry sauce on it, but the chicken is grey and purple, more like a thigh or leg than chicken breast. Not a white piece of chicken in sight

Had two fish and chips yesterday the chips is rubbish very small pieces and one of the fish is under cooked. Don’t know what is wrong with these people this is the second time to happen and will be the last

2nd visit. Not as impressed as my first one. Cod seemed rather squashed! The fish is cooked to order so expect a 10-15 minute wait esp with Deliveroo collecting as well.

Robbed me blind. Messed up order so refunded the food they charged me for that i never ordered, refund takes 2 weeks! Then forgot my pot of curry so got charged for that which i never got. Took 30 mins for our order to be done which was 2 kids meals pot of curry and chips!

End of day purchase. Staff were getting ready to close, so the available options were minimal. But they took the time to handle the order as though it was any other, taking care with the presentation of the food and maintaining a polite and upbeat atmosphere. The food itself was still very tasty, despite being the days overstock and having sat a while in the heater. We knew what we were buying, and were clear that we didn't mind.

Fintans provided 16 fish suppers for a great group of OAPs. Their consideration when making arrangements, the presentation on the night in a box with whole meal, the reasonable price and the good size portions made the whole evening very much fun, big thank you.

Lovely cod and chip supper, freshly cooked with a light batter on the fish. Served with mushy peas and a slice of lemon.
