The Crescent Community Venue

A great venue and bar! They have a good variety of gig's on from bands and DJ sets to comedy and entertainment. Front bar with a good selection of drinks and traditional pub games and friendly staff. Great place!

Great small venue. C. 300 people I guess. Good beers, friendly staff, and pool and pinball tables too.

Small venue. Nothing wrong and nothing outstanding to report. Seems to have some well known bands for the size of it. Offer earplugs should you need them.

Played a gig here with indie-poppers Firestations (check them out!) and it's one of those venues you live to play. Just thinking about it now is making me smile. It's a venue with character. The live room is nicely sized, the stage is ideally sized for bands (we're a five piece and it was perfect) the staff, bar manager, sound person and promoters were all incredibly professional and friendly. There's a bar round the side if you need to escape from the live room for whatever reason and the bar has many decent keg ales on tap. You're lucky to have this venue in York, go there as much as you can!

I had a brilliant time watching the band A Certain Ratio". I think this is such a great venue offering much needed space for gigs

The Crescent is a great small venue to see live music in. A great asset to the music scene in York.

Great place to absorb the talent of live music!Staff accommodating and friendly. Facilities good and good value for money. We gas a great night out listening to bands we had not heard of.
