Just a wonderful garden centre .. lovely cafe , clothing section with great offers.. the housing area is great for presents and gifts ... its well priced.. they have a good selection of plants and Christmas stuff .. worth a good look

Just been here to get some bedding plants & a large pot for our Bay Tree.Has a large car park & staff very nice.Whilst here we also bought a trellis for our Clematis plants. They have a cafe on site too.

I like the layout, but gone at the days when the garden centre was the place to get reasonably priced plants, I was after herbs and even in the bargain section it's still cheaper to go to the local supermarket and by them there, it's such a shame, but hey I'm no expert..

Daleside Garden Centre
Met a friend for coffee there. Managed, with great difficulty, to pass by the delicious looking scones on display and just ordered coffees. Excellent garden centre with lots of seperate areas to wander around.

Pleasant time walking around here. Plenty to see. They have a good selection of plants. Restaurant is reasonable and the staff are very helpful. Everyone seems to have a smile

Large car park and adequate number of disabled spaces. Met a friend in the restaurant. Like many similar venues you have to walk through the shop to get there. As I have considerable mobility problems this can be a struggle and then the slope down to the restaurant, despite having a grab rail, was a challenge. Not sure why there's no access by the door which opens straight onto the car park. Nevertheless the food was good and the environment pleasant. Lost one star for the rather mediocre toilet facilities.

I called this garden centre this morning; someone answered the phone and I asked if they could help me with a stock enquiry.Explained the item I was looking for, she confirmed they sell it and I then continued talking, only for the woman to very abruptly say “WE’RE NOT ACTUALLY OPEN UNTIL 9!” - why answer the phones to members of the public if you’re not open? Naturally, consumers don’t have your opening hours imprinted in their heads!Extremely rude and very abrupt, unprofessional service. If you don’t open u til 09:00, why answer the phones before this time? I’ll be going to another local stockist! Shocking customer care.

Good garden centre. We actually go to meet in the cafe. It gets very busy at lunch time with the older generation! Good kid's meals. Nice soup. Plenty of cakes.The plants look good too!
