First order with this cafe, via Just Eat. Not very impressed. Bacon was undercooked in my sandwich, I order tea, there was no option to select no milk so I added it in the 'info for restaurant' section...tea arrived with milk, so for me it was undrinkable. I don't like milk. I also ordered a toasted tea cake, supposed to come with butter and jam, didn't really want/need the jam, so wouldn't have missed that, but they forgot the butter, and the tea cake itself was merely waved, very briefly at a toaster. I'd add a photo but there seems no option for that. I only used this cafe as my usual choice was unable to deliver today. Not sure I'll use these again tbf. I also requested they call me when they arrived as my door bell isn't working, luckily I was near the door because the driver didn't call, he knocked very quietly on the door...even my two dogs didn't bark, and they bark at everything.

Did the catering for our 4 year olds birthday party this weekend. All the food was spot on for what we needed, well packaged and very cost effective. Will definitely use again.

Ordered from Uber eats.Good quality ingredients used for food. So great on that front. On any other day I’d put 5 stars so don’t know what went wrong today.However can’t amend orders if you want egg or any extras on sandwiches. I’ve ordered before and asked for an egg or other additions with my sandwich and it’s never been a issue. They didn’t bother calling us to ask if we can pay for the additions instead sent them without which is not the food we ordered. We would of course be happy to pay for any ‘extras’ if we were asked or had the option.Smoothies are usually 10/10 also. But was incredibly watered down today.Please also cut the sandwich in half as it wasn’t done. Everything felt a bit slap dash in terms of presentation and quality today. Also can you please give options for sauce also.

Paula did an amazing buffet for my daughter's 4th birthday party. Lots of choice and great portion sizes. Thank you again. Will be using again and would highly recommend to anyone.

Quaint little coffee shop with friendly staff. Service is quick and there’s a nice selection of cakes. Worth a visit instead of Costa when shopping in Ashby.

Ordered breakfast at 11.10 got it at 12.50 paid £27 for 2 breakfast got here cold and when I phoned and told them that the guy tried to patranise me won’t buy from here again don’t even taste nice

We found this little gem at random while on a wander so popped in for brekky and a brew.Nice friendly greeting on arrival, and a lovely little place which you could happily sit outside in the sun for hours.Menu is good honest cafe food, with a decent range of choices for hot and cold drinks.Prices are very fair, food was served quickly but perfectly cooked and hot through. Tasty also!Staff all very attentive and friendly, and the place had a nice Saturday morning buzz about it.The only thing that would add that extra 1% for me would be the option of a mug of tea rather than the little teacups, but that's just preference.Will definitely go again - easy recommendation.
