Had lunch with a friend today. Food was served piping hot and the presentation was really lovely as well as tasting delicious.The staff were very helpful and friendly.I highly recommend The Devonshire Arms

Great food, lovely atmosphere and staff and the pub was decorated for Christmas was lovely inside.Had a prawn salad with portionof chunky chips, small fish and chips which was certainly very filling and gammon with all toppings. Panacotta for dessert to share between us.Would be visiting again

Friday dinner for two was absolutely superb! Great Food, Presentation and Services! Best Pork Belly ever! Car parking on the left side of the building. Seating out area very popular with locals during summer time. Beautifully up to date decorated inside. Best to make a prior reservation, as there were no available tables on the evening, all reserved. Highly recommended place!

Food was delicious, we had the pie of the day which was mince and onion (got the small portion which was plenty), and the large fish and chips. Batter was very good, very crispy and fish delicious. The chips were fantastic, crisp on the outside and fluffy and light in the middle.Would love to come back in the summer and sit out in the beer garden.

Lovely roast dinner, only marked it one star less as we only got one carrot and also caulifower cheese would've been nice to have available as a side dish.

Spacious and cosy environment. Attentive, friendly staff. Very fast service.Food looks lovely but my burger and chips disappointing. Tasted like a big ball of chewy mince meat left in juices until brown and sour. No flavours. Chips hand cut but overdone on outside bit raw in inside and oily. Huge pile of red lettuce and soggy coleslaw.Salt Pepper Squid starter big chunks caked in thick batter and over cooked a little chewy.Pie and Steak Pudding much much better. Monk fish smelled like we are not by the sea.Pasta wolfed down with no complaints.Robbies beer a bit Meh and outdated regardless of citra hops.. Quality chocolate torte and B&B pudding very nice.Above average pub grub that looks more gastro than it tastes.

The Devonshire Arms
We held a party at the Devonshire using the garden room, everyone loved the food and the decor, we were able to play our own music and also were given some of the other tables in the garden to enjoy. There were no issues with booking, paying or organising the party here and a special shout-out to George who helped with our every need but also thank you to all the staff that made our day, and our guest's day, extra special.
