Great staff, polite and ultra helpful. Especially a lady called Jenny, she worked late to help me recently, for which I am very grateful. Highly recommended.

I visited here in January as i needed help to do my irish passport application , i emailed them prior to visiting, & they were very pleasant & nice & accommodating, being autistic & dyslexic. I needed help with online irish passport application & also a witness for it too. That was a small donation of £15, which is very generous & a great help for people like myself who can't find or get a witness. They made the process of the online application very easy & smooth. Staff were so friendly & easy to speak to. As i sat to be seen , because i got there early. I was given some vegetable soup. I can't rate this irish center enough. I would give more than 5 stars if i could. They went though everything right down to the photos & double checking of said irish passport application. To getting it printed out to send to irish passport office in Dublin. I got my irish passport on the 18th feb. I applied on 16th jan. About 6 to 8 weeks. It all went fine & no problems. Thank you for helping me with my irish passport application, i can't sing your praises enough. I recommend Birmingham irish association to anyone if your struggling for witness or having trouble doing the application yourself . Thanks once againKerri

Customer service training is required.Used services to obtain my mother's birth certificate. It arrived back promptly and they called me several times to tell me they had it and I said I would try to get it, but because of personal circumstances had difficulty collecting it. Tried on one occasion to find centre closed despite advertised opening times. However I acknowledge I left it several months before collecting it.Today they phoned me to tell they were sending it back by end of week unless I collected it, no explanation why.I dropped everything and on arrival was told it was because of GDPR rules that it would to be returned, something clients should be told when ordering. Most staff are friendly but one member has the demeanor of a doctor's receptionist and in my opinion should not have a frontline position until some form of customer training is undertaken.Sorry I had to write this but I'm sure I'm not the first person to find her client interaction style abrasive and unfriendly.
