They Fitted substitute summer tyres instead of the 4 all season ones I’d ordered without telling me!Had ordered 4 winter tyres as our tyres were not worn out but getting to the end of their life and was planning a Christmas trip to Cumbria, dropped car off and got call to collect it, but noticed tyres were not ones I had ordered but summer tyres. Told staff they had made a mistake but was told under their t and c’s they can substitute a replacement tyre if ordered tyres not available ( had been ordered them two days before on their website) but paperwork they gave me said they had fitted the correct tyres. Manager said they fit whatever gets delivered and don’t check they are correct tyres ordered I pointed out they are meant to be winter tyres for driving in snow not summer tyres but he said it’s nothing to do with them, he also said although I had ordered and paid for the tyres on their website it doesn’t mean they have them and they have a right to substitute the tyres with different ones. Several hours wasted because no one told me they didn’t have the correct tyres. Old ones were refitted and tyres ordered elsewhere for tomorrow.I wonder how many times they have done this without telling anyone, would you know what you were looking at and whether it was a cheaper substitution?

I phoned ATS to get two new tyres fitted. They didn't have the tyres I wanted but promised to check availability and to phone me back. Still waiting for the call. Hopeless.

Suffered a puncture near-by whilst enroute to the north of England - it was mid afternoon, dark, wet and I still had 160 miles to go so didn't fancy 50 mph on a get you home spare.Asked for help - they were very busy - prepared to wait - but said they would fix it.Repaired in 15 minutes - all wheels inspected, checked and reported on and sent me on my way.Courteous, friendly and helpful. Very grateful - thanks guys.

My dad went to these cow boys yesterday an the level of service was shocking. No help at all, I don't know if these clowns are even qualified telling my dad he needs this an that without telling him how much because young lad couldn't be bothered to check. Would not recommend this place total cow boys.

My booking was taken on time and my car was sorted to my satisfaction. Not only that but the technician came out and explained what was done and that if after a while the alignment settled and my steering was of centre just to pop in and that he would do the necessary adjustments. All covid procedures were followed to the letter. So I'm a happy customer and would recommend them to anyone

I took my wife’s Fiesta for an aircon re gas. Having been charged £120, a few days later it stopped working. My wife spoke to them and asked why, after doing a dye test, did they go ahead, knowing there was a leak !! No joy from them so I’ll take our four cars elsewhere in future !!!I’d like to add that we’ve since had an aircon specialist to do the aircon and it’s working perfectly. It cost £20 less too. Don’t bother with ATS, you’ll be sorry if you do.

I use this garage for tyre replacement and repair. The staff are always very friendly and knowledgable. Appointments are easy to book and often available next day or very soon after that.

Very glum looking staff with not a lot of customer service"Today I spent over £650 on 4 new tyres with 4 wheel alignment via black circles and it was like I was kind of interrupting their day.I have used ATS in Welwyn Garden City in the past and they were amazing

Not quite what I would expect from a garage like this. Staff was not too polite, no information given on how long the job was going to take (approx), no invoice after the job was done. Im glad that my aircon is now blowing cold air, this is the only indication that the work has been done. Not recommending the place. Will never go back there.
