Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Portsmouth North End

Love love love my glasses, especially the Viviennne Westwood pair. Had loads of compliments .Both pairs are very comfortable and can see well with them,no issues at all. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I had booked an eye check appointment including the purchase of new lenses and frame on 24th June for 08th July at 12:40pm.The customer advisor did not understand that I have a Specsaver account and started to create a new account even if I already mention it several times.I had arrived at the Specsaver store at 12:44pm where the store was empty and and the customer assistant refused to serve me due to the optician saying that we are 4-5min late and said if we can reschedule a 10-15 min assessment in a couple of days.This is a joke, the store was empty, the clinical check should take more than 15min to check the retina condition, eye bottom, vision distance and general lens coverage.

Absolutely lovely staff in this branch. Very well mannered and up for a laugh. (I like a laugh). I felt so comfortable with both opticians. Chloe was extremely helpful with my contact lenses and never got impatient with me. I always used to be nervous going to the opticians as I didn’t have a great experience in commercial road but this one is lovely, great atmosphere and I think I will stick with them now. Very happy. I don’t normally leave reviews but the staff deserve the recognition!

So disappointed with this place. As a disabled person came to the store 2min after my appointed time. A store manager came to me a soon as she was available by the time we sitting down and she checked my details was 5min after my appointment was scheduled. After that my appointment was cancelled because was not on time. When I was waiting nearly a 3 weeks for this appointment. Store manager Chloe after that offered me new appointment after 2 weeks. Was not expected to be treated with no understanding to disabled person. Not recommended.

Always have a positive experience here. All staff are friendly, helpful and take time to advise when choosing new frames. Optician was really helpful explaining the ongoing issues with my vision. On collection of my new glasses they took time to make sure fit was comfortable and make adjustments.

Excellent service and a well run establishment.
