Popped into DFS Exeter this afternoon and ordered a new (5 seater+) modular sofa. The Sales advisor (Matt) was not pushy, had great product knowledge and offered a very balanced opinion. We were a bit worried about our doorways but Matt explained these are delivered in sections and built on site.So far so good, I will update this when it's been installed!

Rubbish quality and customer service. I purchased a Freya lounge suite December 2022. After 6 days I went back to the store to enquire about changing the fabric as I had changed my mind. I was told no as the first thing they do when making the sofa is cut the fabric!! My order arrived on time and looked amazing. Less than one month later the sponge started to sag. I dread to think what it will look like in 12 months time! There is no point in complaining as you get through to the same unhelpful individual every time! Buy elsewhere!

Again good products online but the store doesn't have in display smaller sofas, enough sofa beds or sofas with storage. Staff wasn't aware what corduroy is as a fabric, despite this being one of their best settlers sofas......

Very bad customer service. Was told sofa would be 8weeks then twelve weeks and then given a delivery date and time, this turned out to be a complete fantasy. No explanation, no phone call, nothing. So off to the store to try to get an explanation which was not very convincing but the store manager was quite forthcoming and has agreed to send a loan sofa. Maybe more to follow!!!

Lovely clean store with plenty of choice. Did not feel pressured by staff at all. Remember that DFS do sell other items other than sofas too.

Parents bought a sofa set and it arrived faulty and substandard.Had one of their services engineers around , still refusing to give a refund. Staff have been rude and have finally had to go via chargeback route. Reported fault and asked for a refund within 30 days and they have refused which is against trading standards.This has been my worst customer experiance in my life. Would never recommend or use.

Went for a walk around to look for a replacement sofa for the lounge. Had a good selection of differing styles, colours , fabrics and leather.Staff were helpful and we're open to offering favourable deals.It wasquiet when we went in.Easy access throughout the store , well laid out with good contrasting and complementary colour schemes.Didn't buy anything today but we'll worth considering after today's experience.

A very busy day, so had to wait a little while for someone to take my order. However, I was given their undivided attention once I was seen. Ordered what I wanted. They do need to tone down the selling of extras a bit, we're British don't you know, hard sell we do not like. Anyway just waiting for my delivery now but the 6 weeks wait has now been reduced to 4 weeks which is good news!

As DFSs go this is a good sized store pleasantly laid out. The main thing to say for the store is that the staff are really helpful, which makes it a great shopping experience.

Terrible customer service from this store, the manager was supposed to call me and she hung up after the first ring saying she couldn't get through" and didn't bother to try again in 5 minutes. I tried calling back myself but was told the call had been rescheduled to tomorrow and I couldn't be connected today.Awful customer service
