Lovely place to stop off for a pint. Very friendly staff and atmosphere and a nice spot out the back for sitting.

First time at Borgue Hotel tonight for food with 2 families of 4. A lovely welcome from Martin, very dog and kid friendly. We all enjoyed our meals and the desserts were fab. Local bottled beers were great too. Great service and great value, pub food.

We are staying up the road at the Coo Palace, the staff of which recommended this venue for its bar. They serve Sulwath Ales which my husband likes, particularly Criffel". They also free the local craft Galloway gin

Very warm and welcoming atmosphere in the bar area. Excellent service and good choice of mains and desserts. All really well cooked and great value. Wish we had found it earlier.

Went for lunch with wife and two kids, 10 and 12, and we were made to feel so welcome. Nice sandwiches, soup and chips. Can't comment on rooms but I can only imagine you'd have an amazing stay. We hope to stay there if we come back to the area

Great little hotel with very friendly staff and a warm welcome. Food is very decent pub fair, dogs are welcome and there’s a nice outside seating area for when the weather is nice.
