Two, unrelated operations I had to have done on separate occasions as an emergency for my fur baby, first an eye removal, where the surgeon did the most amazing job, and she was very well cared for before, during, and after her operation, then a few months ago she had to receive another operation as she was very poorly, same day appointment, within 15 minutes we had a diagnosis, left her in the vets care over night, and the operation was performed that evening, picked her up lunch time the following day and she was a much happier pup, can’t fault this vets, their staff, and their loyalty and dedication to looking after our pets- Hoepfully I won’t be needing anymore emergency operations, but if we did, these are the people to do it!

Excellent service - lovely receptionist who got me an appointment within 45 mins. The vet was lovely and knowledgeable, checked my dog thoroughly and explained skin issues etc and what I needed to do. Very impressed from start to finish, thank you. Easy car parking.

Animal trust Shrewsbury are the worst vets I have seen by far! I wouldn’t even give them a 1 star. They shouldn’t be aloud to carry on doing what they are doing! They do not care about animals at all it’s all about money - these are not just pets, they are family! They may seem cheap at the start but in the long run they will give your pets unnecessary tests or just keep sending you away with medications hoping they resolve your issues and the money will add up.They are so overloaded with customers that they can barely keep up with consultations - they have 15 minutes per appointment to see each patient which for an ill pet isn’t enough time at all (I spoke too a former vet from the practice and they explained this too me).Due to the incompetence of how this practice is run, I have unfortunately lost my 6 year old staffy this week due to their negligence.I have been in several times in just over a month about my concerns for my dog, they did the most basic exam (did not check the basics eyes ears and mouth I had too ask them too) and sent her home , they explained that she was fine it may just be a phantom pregnancy.we brought her back in a few days later as there was no signs of improvement and we had a gut feeling something was not right! And again said she was possibly experiencing a phantom pregnancy and her symptoms should subside soon and sent home again.not even 12 hours later, The next morning we found a large amount of blood on the floor so took her immediately too the vets and was told we needed exams/test carried out which we agreed, and we paid £700+ for these to be done. that same day and were rang up not even 3 hours later and told that our dog was ‘fine’ blood tests were normal, she did not need any of the extra exams we paid for (X-ray,ultrasound etc)because she just has a stomach bug(gastroenteritis even though she had no diarrhoea only sick once the whole time)and that all her bloods were fine and they reassured us that there was no need for any further tests too be carried out and she was given anti sickness injection and sent home with medication and she would be on the mend.Still we had no improvement with her she just seem too be getting worse. So We decided to take her to another vets as we felt like we weren’t being listened too and that our dog was being neglected of care, the new vets examined her and within 30minutes of being there very swiftly diagnosed her with pyometra and said she needed emergency surgery as her uterus was full of puss. We had this done but due too the delay of getting her the help she needed it caused my dog to have a stroke which unfortunately she could not recover from and we have sadly had her put to sleep and lost her this week. These concerns that we were projecting to animal trust was the signs of her having a stroke. Not forgetting they have some very rude staff in particular there receptionist (an old lady short grey hair with glasses) was very rude to my mother accused her of being rude and a liar simply because the she (receptionist ) got mixed up with her appointment time telling her, her appointment wasn’t till 12 when it was at 11.45 but called my mother a liar until the vet agreed the appointment was originally for 11.45 but due too an emergency they had too change it too 12 which was fine but you don’t tell a customer they are lying simply because you didn’t inform them of the time change. Then proceeded to tell her too go away she’s busy and wait too see a vet all because she had asked for her dogs file too printed out so we could take it too another vets and too have a list of what she’s been tested for!We have forwarded this on too the management at animal trust and they are unable too do anything just “investigate” they done there investigation and didn’t give me any response not even sorry- only that there is nothing they can do and just put a complaint into head office which I have done but still no response.PLEASE NEVER USE THESE VETS

Animal Trust Shrewsbury have been fantastic. My dog Hetty had Cruciate Ligament Surgery carried out by Ed, the orthopaedic surgeon. He spent a good hour talking to us about the whole procedure and explained everything. 6 days post op, her operated leg is looking remarkable and Hetty is recovering so well. We travelled a long way and so glad we did. They even clipped her nails and I didn’t even ask them! Fantastic vets, great prices, great staff. Thank you so much for all you’ve done.

Animal trust vets at Shrewsbury have been absolutely amazing. We can't thank them enough. Lecksi had cruciate surgery which due to her being young and bouncy has been a challenging experience for us all. Ed, the orthopaedic surgeon and all the veterinary, nursing and receptionist staff have been fantastic. Ed is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate, dedicated, supportive, thorough and patient and we will be forever grateful for everything he's done for us. Despite being incredibly busy, he always took a great deal of time to explain everything to us at every step of the process. We travelled a long way to Shrewsbury and we are so glad we did. The transparent pricing is really helpful. We would totally recommend Animal trust. Thankyou.

Fantastic vets best ever used. Love they are out to do the best for your pet not make money like numerous other vets in town I.e vets for pets who were charging twice as much for the same allergy injection. Shame on vets for pets taking advantage.
