Overlooking the port of Felixstowe, probably one of the best industrial landscapes, especially after dark.

Lovely location, right by the beach. Short walk from 2 historic lighthouses, one of only 2 treadwheel cranes in the world, one of the oldest working cinemas in the country and many, many more interesting landmarks.

Great parking for Harwich beach and a walk around Old Harwich. Local favourite Fish and Chips, cafes and restaurants all close by.

Great location overlooking Felixstowe dock and giving access to the beach and the coast path round to Dovercourt and attractions like the treadmill crane, the lighthouse and a playground. The reason I've only given 4 stars is that it is pay and display, but you can almost always park on the street just outside it.

At the Port of Harwich in the Old Town areas cheap parking and a long promenade to enjoy a walk to Dovercourt along the sea front. For those with an interest in History there are many listed buildings close by, including the home of Captain Christopher Jones who sailed the Mayflower to America in 1620. Maybe just relax and watch the huge container ships being escorted in and turned around by the TUGS as the dock the ships.

28 space car park close to the water and handy for a stroll. Not too pricey and free from 6pm to 8am but also free parking in the adjacent road if car park is full. It's an app-only payment scheme so no cash taken.

Nice spot to park and enjoy the esplanade. Plenty nearby benches to sit. Sights of interest and a toilet close by next to the old lighthouse.
