Much Hadham Dental Care

The contrast between the service this dental practise provided pre and post Covid is worlds apart. Profit over patient care now. I’d never needed to see a hygienist before and would be invited back for a check up in a years time. Now it’s a push for the hygienist each time (which I probably do now need as they no longer provide a maintenance clean) and a barrage of text messages to return after 6 months. They are going fully private, I am happy to go elsewhere.

I tried this dentist out in 2021 and it was chaotic at best. While waiting for my appointment there was literally a fire in the building from a piece of equipment and the alarms went off. The receptionist was rude and dismissive and I decided I wouldn't return. They have chased me multiple times for a payment for the appointment which I made on the day, including this week, threatening legal action, even though the appointment was paid two years ago!!

4 hours in the chair for 10 crowns! No pain but fantastic outcome… final fitting in a couple of weeks. Thanks Resmi.

After a horrible experience with a dentist as a teenager I hadn’t seen a dentist for 30yrs .My teeth were bad and when Much Hadham Dental advertised for NHS patients so got an appointment back in May 2023 with Kate.Had major anxiety and embarrassment so Kate sat me down no conversation straight into it , a few fillings and drilling all done in about 10 minutes , felt rushed and no opportunity to talk concerns and treatment .I thought maybe that’s how it is nowadays but stuck with it as got over initial fear .Went back a month later , my upper teeth were hurting and loosening again another rushed appointment and within 10 minutes another filling done and left , again no opportunity to discuss treatment and I would’ve paid privately with this practice if they talked to me about solutions.Then came the email in June 23 to say they could no longer continue with NHS treatment and would have to go private in September 23 .Had a loose front tooth in pain went in for an appointment in July 23 again rushed injected and removed tooth again wanted to discuss replacement teeth wether dentures etc as can’t talk properly or eat , Kate said I haven’t got time this is a pain appointment!So left with an embarrassing mouth now affecting my social life as won’t go out and can’t eat so now looking for a private dentist.Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a dentist’s practice, obviously the owner is only interested in money certainly not patient care , I don’t expect you to do it for free but I do expect you to understand a patients worries and concerns.Avoid

Absolutely terrified of dentists and needle phobia needing a tooth extraction.Was pleasantly surprised and am prepared to go again.Cannot thank the dentist again for the the care and reassurance I was given throughout.Thank you.

Visited as an nhs patient today , last visit before they only take private patients . I was asked if I wanted to carry on my treatment there and join the payment plan. No I don't thanks very much . I was in the chair less than 5 minutes and within that 5 minutes I was questioned on flossing as usual , and told that I may need various treatments in the future and did I want to book in for them . I was also told it would be a good idea to have a hygienist appointment soon, I only had one at your practice a few month ago , and she obviously didn't do a very good job if the dentist thought I needed to see her again or maybe they were just trying to upsell , either way I won't be retuning .

Had been with this surgery for years and always felt that they were good. The new dentist who has taken over the surgery now rush you in and out with no care let alone a clean. Not sure how it has gone so down hill.

I have been a patient at this dentist for over 25 years and have always felt well cared for. However, I was unimpressed with the dentist I saw today. I had seen her on one previous occasion and I felt rushed and that I did not have a full consultation (I was in the seat for less than 5 minutes of a 15 minute appointment). I also felt that she did not check for mouth cancers properly, teeth were not cleaned (as they have been on every previous occasion) and identified a problem that I had apparently had for many years, but that no dentist had ever mentioned to me before. I would not wish to see this dentist again as I do not feel that she was thorough enough. Sorry Much Hadham Dental Service, not a fab experience this time.
