Templand Cottages

Not long back from a brilliant 3 day stay. Cottages are immaculate and the scenery stunning. Jacqui and family are great hosts . An absolute slice of heaven if you want to get away from it all, so much so we've just booked again. Definitely recommended.

A fantastic location with beautiful views at every angle, lovely room fully kitted with all the essentials and more!Each cottage has a front and back area to relax including a hot tub! Private swimming pool, steam room and hot tub to hire as well.The owners are lovely and extremely helpful, our little girl loved playing with their daughter on the grounds!Local village centre 5 minute drive with some lovely cafes, chip shop, Chinese and a co op, a beautiful 20 minute walk where everyone says hello even the animals.We will definitely be returning

Very nice location and the cottage had everything we needed for a short stay. Central heating which is a must in the evenings as it can get chilly in the evenings still.The hot tub was a new experience for us and we really enjoyed it but had to get out sharply when the rain came on.If you are looking for comfort, relaxation and peace and quiet then this is the place for you.Thornhill itself is a lovely town with lots of shops and restaurants etc.Would highly recommend Templand Cottages.

We had a perfect and lovely stay for two weeks in a neat cottage, part of a beautifully remodeled farm complex. It's perfectly located, quiet and peacefully outside the nearby town Thornhill.We enjoyed our daily walk to said town (20min) to enjoy a great coffee in a lovely shop.The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean. Everything in equipment as needed. And on any request or question, the lovely owners are always reachable and offer the best and most friendly service there is!Very good wireless, a hot-tub for every cottage (both included) and a bookable private pool were great add-ons, which we really enjoyed!Traveling for more than 20y, every year at a different place, this is the first location we seriously consider of booking the very same one again!Thanks so much for this unique experience!

Was here for a wee family break after a recommendation from friends and jacqui and len were so welcoming, we couldn't have asked better hosts. Felt totally at home from the second we arrived. The pool was great for the kids (also us big kids too!) Such a beautiful location. The hot tub is fantastic. Can't wait to come back again

Ideal place for a break away. Private hot tub amazing. Hired the swimming pool and sauna really enjoyed it.

I stayed here for 1 week with my 2 teenage kids and dog. We couldn't have asked for any better, it was absolutely perfect. Immaculately kept inside and out. Fantastic views, great hosts & the indoor swimming pool sauna & hot tub kept 2 teenage kids happy on our chilled days. Great walks for our dog too. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful peace and quiet and relaxation in a nice clean pool. Hubby enjoyed the sauna and I loved the outdoor hot tub which worked wonders for my arthritic joints. We will come back as often as we get the chance!
