We really enjoyed our dinner from Sakura Kitchen. We ordered two katsu curries with miso soup. Not only was the food delicious, but the portions were big and the lady was really friendly when I went to pick up. Nice to have this option in Kirkwall.

We've ordered from Sakura Kitchen twice now but, due to the quality of the food, we're looking to order at least once a month from now on. With both authentic ingredients and those locally sourced, everything prepared to from scratch & order, and beautiful details such as sakura shaped slices of vegetables or a dash of gold leaf, if you love Japanese cuisine then you really should order from Sakura Kitchen. The menu changes weekly too so there's always something to discover. Best sushi I have ever had (and the matcha tiramisu is to die for!!)

Ordered chicken ramen online, I had to message and amend the time to pick up, I received communication back very quickly and it wasn’t a problem.Pick up was friendly, quick and easy, paid with contactless, wooden chopsticks provided, wooden spoons and forks option available.The food was so good! It was hot, tasty and very filling….. perfect size portions.Highly recommended, will definitely order again. Thank you

This is without doubt the highest quality food available in Orkney. I’ve eaten sushi all over the world and none have bettered this - exquisite presentation and zen perfection in the preparation and cooking. So glad this has opened!
