Perfect for my needs. Small single room was clean, warm and comfortable. Fantastic views across the docks on the 6th floor. Dominos across the road and a corner shop open until 10pm just down the road. 15 min pleasant walk, down an avenue of trees, to the cultural quarter with City Art Gallery, universities and other private facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Whilst visiting Greenway House and Gardens we had to try out the well known and popular Dittisham, ( pronounced 'Ditsum') ferry boat. You ring the bell on the Quay to call the small boat which cost £2 each way ( return fares are not available). The journey takes a couple of minutes to cross the river Dart. The skipper was jolly and very talkative, each trip across could take 10 to 12 persons.The Quay at Greenway has a small kiosk for drinks and snacks plus Yarde Ice-cream. We took the ferry across to Dittisham for lunch at a local Inn.

Me my wife and Grandson took the one hour ferry cruise to Dartmouth Dittisham and back to Greenway Quay a lovely little cruise @£6 each with an informative captain explaining the sights etc.

1hr cruise from Dartmouth to Greenway Quay and back again. No advanced booking - paid on board. Card only. £7.50 adult return, good value. Commentary throughout. Nice crew.

Challenging drive down to the car park via single-track lanes. Guy serving in the shop/ticket office was very helpful.20-25 minute cruise down to Dartmouth.

Fantastic boat trip across the river Dart to Dittisham. For 2 people and a dog it costs £4.50 each way. The ferry from Dittisham to Dartmouth is a far better value, at £18 return for 2 people and a dog, which works out to £4.50 each. Would recommend the Ferryboat Inn, but not the Anchor Stone Cafe next door, as they would only offer a takeaway drink, they only want people who have a full sit down meal.
