I purchased a Suzuki outboard that was IN STOCK. A few days later, I received a call telling me it was out of stock but will be in by the end of the week’.Cutting the story short after a month of waiting and many phone calls, the shop and myself agreed a re found, great! Another month and no re found lucky for me PayPal got involved who told me that Apollo Marine would not answer any email from them but not to worry I was covered nearly 3 months later thanks to PayPal I have my money back. All the time, the staff were slick and polite, and the shop itself looks good but be aware.

Guy conducted a pre purchase survey for me and did so dilligently and professionally. Briefed me over the phone when he finished the survey, later producing a comprehensive report. Highly recommend.

It now appears that Apollo knew they could not fulfil the order I payed for, but instead of refunding me and apologising for the inconvenience, they sat on my money for over a month until I contacted them to check up on the delay. I still don't have my money back. Will avoid in future. Extremely disappointing. EDIT - FOUR WEEKS LATER: I still do not have my refund and they are not answering emails now. I wish I'd read others' reviews on here before placing an order - be warned!EDIT - MONTHS LATER: I still do not have my refund. I would encourage anyone to read all reviews here if considering placing any order with this company

Ordered 2 lamps at Apollo in January 2021- which are still not delivered. Havent't received feedback to my last mails asking for the status and cannot get hold of the team by phone.

Item never arrived despite several assurances following phone calls. Did not email back to update me despite saying they would on a number occasions. Only got refund from paypal after having to escalate my claim with them. Disappointing after seeing some of the other more positive feedback. They did sound polite though on the phone and perhaps mail order is not their forte.

Order placed on the 8th July and it still hasn't been shipped! (today is the 15th). Spoke to someone on Monday who also found it strange it wasn't shipped and said they will call me back. And guess what?......I am still waiting for that call! Avoid at all costs!

I ordered a carling switch on 48hrs delivery but it didn’t show up. After weeks of waiting it had never arrived despite being told it was either on back order or been posted. I am still trying to get a refund since agreeing this by phone over a week ago. I never get any response or communication by email and empty promises by phone. I will never buy from here again. If you are reading this review apollo marine, please process my refund as promised.

Had a problem with a Suzuki 50 engine of mine, kept cutting out. Took my RIB to Mike at Apollo Marine to be repaired and the engine has been perfect since with no problems. Very knowledgeable and experienced Suzuki engineer with a polite attitude. Fully recommend Mike at Apollo Marine.

Went to see them for life jackets for myself and the children. The guy was really patient and helpful going through all the sizes and options with them. Sensible advice from them meant that I left with more than I went in for. Knowledgeable and polite, a great experience without any hassle. Thanks

Got to add to the 1 Stars I'm afraid, don't know what the walk in store is like but mail order was pretty pitiful!Got an order confirmation but nothing further, waited four days and then emailed - the response was that the order was being processed and then nothing for 13 days.I emailed to chase up the order and received no response, followed it up with a phonecall to be told it would be sent next day, then nothing for four days, polite excuses for not being able to supply the product and then a cancelled order.To be fair the refund was dealth with within the hour but I'd rather have had the purchased product without three weeks of the run around much like a lot of the other reviews on here, sadly I won't be using this company again!
