Crowfield Airfield

Excellent airfield, very friendly, well kept runways. Pilot training available. Movements are restricted so PPR essential for pilots intending to visit.

Why oh why cant light aircraft have exhaust silencers. I can guarantee if I took the exhaust off my car and then drove full throttle past your house up to 24 times a day you would be as pi$$ed off as me !

I looked at a few places before choosing where to learn to fly, in order to fulfill a lifelong ambition. Crowfield was clean, tidy and professional. John talked through the process of learning to fly, explaining the various steps that need to be met. He went through the options clearly and made me feel at home. I booked my first lesson there and then, and have not been disappointed. A few lessons later and I have flown my first solo! Truly exhilarating...
