Outstanding service from Dale and his team.Popped in to change full suspension components. Expected to wait a couple days for the job to be complete. Dale phoned me same day to pick up the car. He showed me exactly what he had done with the car still on the ramp and then showed me photos of the work when it was being carried out. I drove out with full confidence. Great service.He changed spark plugs and coil packs for me. Again, great service.He also diagnosed and helped me fix a vacuum leak. He had with no previous knowledge of this engine and used methodical techniques to find the issue. This was an issue that had taken over a year to solve and having been to multiple garages, “specialists,” and wasted thousands of pounds in diagnostics and hopeful new parts.If you cannot already tell from my experience, I would highly recommend visiting Dale for anything from a simple oil change to full on diagnostics and repairs.

Dale is an incredible mechanic. He is trustworthy and always willing to help. He has been amazing with my car, fixing it to an excellent condition and I have been pleased with his service. Dale is very professional with good customer service. I totally recommend Ainslie Park Garage.

After a couple of bad experiences with other garages I thought Id try this local one. It doesn't look much, no bells and whistles, seating areas or coffee machines but clean and well presented. I don't think my booking was in the diary but it wasn't an issue, Dale took the car and first thing he asked was for last service details as he didn't want to do anything unnecessary. To me, that's a good start I'm not there to be ripped off. I requested a full service as it hadn't been done a couple of years and my book was requested so he can note down everything he's done so next year he will check mileage and let me know what needs done vs my mileage. I didn't feel intimidated, my questions weren't given flippant answers, everything explained in full detail so I will be using and recommending this garage going forward

One of lives mysteries! How has it taken me so long to discover Dale and Scott?My old van was in need of a fairly big repair and was told it wasn't worth repairing so I was ready to get it uplifted for scrap, however when I read the reviews of other satisfied customers who use Ainslie Park garage, I thought that I would give them a call, Dale answered, asked what the problem was and within an hour he was at my door, he nursed my vehicle back to his workshop.He explained that they were very busy but would get on to it as soon as possible, which was fine with me, now I have my old van back on the road again after a repair very well done.I'm so pleased that I've found a garage workshop that I will have no doubts about using in the future.

Dale McVicar took 2 months to return my car after taking on a clutch replacement. The clutch only did 400 miles before failing again. Had to pay to get it towed home. The mechanic who recovered it was appalled by the quality of the work - it's evident from the photos how badly the clutch was aligned and the additional damage that caused. Had to pay for a new clutch and the additional damage. Dale ignored my calls and messages while I was stranded 400 miles from home and now that he's seen these photos, still refuses to take any responsibility let alone provide a refund. Even an apology would have been nice.Not sure what I did to Dale McVicar for him to cause me this much stress and anxiety but posting this so others have a chance to avoid.

My car broke down last week and I called Dale on a Saturday afternoon with no expectations that it can be helped on that day. Dale went above and beyond to help me - he drove to the location and fit one of his own batteries in the car so I can drive it to his garage. Clear, transparent and professional service all around, reasonable prices as well! Dale provides excellent customer service, he provides explanations and suggestions that are in the customer’s best interest! Will be coming back and will be recommending to other people!

Was on holiday in Edinburgh and rang up to see if they could fix my Toyota Prius airbag warning light. Not only did he take the care the same day, but it was fixed that day too! Great service, and seemed to take real care in resolving the issue. Thank you!

Huge shout-out to this garage! Amazing service. Had a major coolant Leak on Thursday night, took my car in on Friday morning and I had to get back down South on Saturday! Got an update within the hour and had the car fixed within the day!! Life saver, thank you so much!!!

It is rare to trust your garage fully after the first discussion. Dale is a top guy and took the time to ask the right questions and explained everything in adequate details. Reasonably priced, I have now brought my third car there and received 1st class service consistently.

We are on our honeymoon and our car broke down. We went to another garage who terrified us, thinking our car would go on fire and was going cost £900 to fix! We stayed in Edinburgh and got to this garage for 8am. We met Ty the owner who was lovely and put us at ease with our car. He was so busy and fixed our car in a few hours. We can not thank him enough. Lovely guy very welcoming and spot on. Doesn't rip you off either. Highly recommend this guy. 5 star service!!! Thanks Ty.
