This company is an absolute disgrace, cheap materials used to build their homes also work unprofessional carriied out by cowboys. The so call housing management are rude and unprofessional and they turn a blind eye to anti social behaviour and nightmare neighbours. Houses riddles with damp, and can't ever get hold of a manager to complain. Stay well away. Over 10 households in the area are in a 2 bedroom house with kids male between 10-15 years of age and females between 10-13 years in the same rooms.

Home Group have developed a very bad habit of refusing to respond to formal complaints,so here are some ways to get Home Group to fulfill their legal obligations.Firstly send a complaint to the Housing Ombudsman and they will make Home Group respond to your complaints, and then this will start the ball rolling, then report Home Group to your local Member of Parliament and your local Council Environmental Health Team, and then expose the disgraceful Home Group on social media as well as on all review and feedback sites. And then finally take legal action against Home Group for gross negligence and for breaking the law by not abiding by the terms of your tenancy agreements. And most importantly never give up in your pursuit for legal justice, and when obstacles are placed in your path just walk straight through them to the victory that you so richly deserve.

Avoid this landlord at all cost.Very bad customer service, practically non existent.Their rating on Facebook says a lot anyway.I'm waiting for the repair of my balcony window doors last7 weeks ever since The Housing Ombudsman made decision/remedy against them.19 months ever since latest complaint started, and 4.5 years ever since I have reported this issue. Building has a construction fault, and roof is collapsing into the flat, pressing on balcony door, which I could not close. So there is water ingress, wind, and a threat of collapse.Instead helping and trying to resolve the issue (repair the building) I feel like being intimidated instead. And this is only one of the repairs and issues, that I've been going with this landlord ever since I moved in to their property. The story should be reported to the press, looking at others comments and opinions.

Lied about 'unreasonable refusals' and claimed I wasn't entitled to a Band A upgrade on Cumbria Choice because I had the 'temerity' three years to give up one of their tenancies. Strawman subterfuge. Unconnected with my present banding appeal! Pitiful tactics to keep me out.My bids on CC don't stand a chance because of this vindictiveness.I'm living in hell in my present dwelling. My health is the worst it's ever been because of the chronic damp and mould infestation in this squalid property. Coughing all the time. Seems I have no chance at all of returning home to Cumbria because of these people who ignore emails, never return phone calls and who seemingly 'lose' appeals. Won't explain why I didn't meet the threshold for Band A.Serious transparency issues to say the least

Home Group want to tell their benefactors, customers and tenants that they care about the people they want to house or help, but in reality their operating as a businessMy dealings with them in these two years has been absolutely frustrating why on the basis of wanting to add my wife to my tenancy. With the current economic climate people are falling behind or cancelling their direct debitsSo with a landlord like home group they now expect people to pay upfront this way their guaranteed rent in case of someone missing a paymentThose they take on as housing officers or managers only last about 3 to 6 months and when you speak to a person at their call centre it’s like oh we can’t help so we then have to try and get hold of our housing officerThe days where you could pop down to your local housing office is now gone as now if you do speak to some one it can take up to three days for a response

Home group housing is a disgrace, I've had a roof leak going on a year now, my kitchen and sitting room ceiling is damaged badly and I was told by a roofer who came out, my ceiling would have to come down for some investigation, L'm still waiting. The contractors have written out a report of what needs doing to the roof but Home group are doing nothing... very worry has the winter is slowly approaching.

Absolutely disgusting landlords!!!! Been waiting 11 MOTNHS for a repair and their excuse is always 'oh we're so sorry, we've sub contracted it out and they should be in contact with you shortly' never to hear from anyone. No one in customer services cares or willing to listen or rush the job along!!!

We have been waiting for months now for a roof repair THAT CAUSED MOULD !! in our wetroom. Your contractors turn up (if we are lucky) unannounced have absolutely no clue why they are there. The last 4 sms we received all had different ref numbers, guess what happened NOTHING. We keep being pushed to the back of the queue as, and I quote something urgent came up"We received an undated letter from Fiona Gregory Your Estate Liaison Officer regarding our Stage 1 complaint update ref 6953 which quite frankly is nonsense. We have advised your staff and contractors on numerous occasions that we must be contacted in order to unlock our back gate to allow access. So what is required is the roof repair carried out and a membrane in the loft replacing ASAP.You can see from this message we are dissatisfied with your findings and request our comlaint be escalated to stage 2.I think the above explains why we are dissatisfied."
