Looked lovely when first arrived, but when you look more closely, you see everything has a very thick layer of dust & is need of a good clean!

The French House is wonderful. We purchased a Venetian mirror and the owner and a cabinet maker came round and installed it for free, all part of the service. It's a magical place where you can forget yourself and just enjoy looking at all the delightful antiques on display. We love it and highly recommend it to you.

If your looking for genuine antique French furniture then this is a place you must visit. Claire in the shop was so helpfull and answered all our questions, she is so knowledgeable about everything they sell. Would highly recommend, so much to see.

Haven't been to this new warehouse before and was somewhat disappointed. Generally was fairly large items of furniture and mirrors with no small items. A lot of items obviously needed some TLC and restoration. Seemed to remember when they had the shop actually in York a much better choice. Still overall worth a visit
